Best Italian in town. Great atmosphere, large wine selection, delicious food. They offer half meals which is a great way to try multiple dishes. Favorite spot for birthdays and special events.

This place sets the bar in Big Sky — the food, atmosphere, and service outshine the competition. Out bartender, JT, was attentive and great at his job. Food is authentic and delicious. Nothing but good things to say.

Tried making a reservation for a family gathering (30 guest) two months in advance, and the floor manager Would not allow it. Reason was they’re not doing big parties the week of our gathering.

Phenomenal! 100% worth the price. A wonderful evening with exceptional food and exceptional staff. Highly highly highly recommend.

They’re known for their truffles and it checks out. We got two truffle heavy dishes- an appetizer and a pasta dish. Out of this world delicious. And great portion sizes.

We also got two entrees which were fantastic. Cannot recommend them enough.

First impression was great as we walked in seeing the beautiful glass covered wine rack behind the bar. The hostess greeted us and was very friendly and nice as we were seated for our reservation. I could tell when the waiter walked up the service was going to be bad. He had no personality and acted as though he didn’t want to be there. The food was very good once we got it. We ordered several pasta dishes as apps and received this fairly quickly although we waited 30-40 min for bread after asking for it more than once. Our main dishes were all very tasty and presented beautifully but one order in our party was missing. It took 20-30 minutes for it to come out and I don’t remember hearing one apology or offer to make it right. The wine rack behind the bar is awesome.
Conclusion: food was good, service was bad. I might try it again someday but I will try other restaurants in town before choosing to give this another chance.

By far the best meal we had during our Big Sky trip!! Our waiter, Cisco, was incredible - attentive, engaging, knowledgeable.

We started with the hazelnut fried shrimp which was a unique and delicious dish. That & the fresh bread they brought out really set the tone for our meal.

For entrees, I ordered the ricotta & truffle stuffed pasta. One of the best pasta dishes I've ever had! Although the portion size wasn't huge, I savored every single bite. My husband got the wagu filet mignon and raved about it.

I wouldn't consider this an inexpensive option, but it was delicious and I will be returning next time I'm at Big Sky.

I thought the Sistine Chapel was michalengelos' greatest artistic achievement until I dined at his restaurant, truly breathtaking.

The team at Michelangelo's never fails to impress! Emily’s staff was incredibly accommodating when we decided to switch from our reserved high-top to the bar to join friends. JT provided outstanding service, making our experience even better. As always, the food was exceptional—truly second to none. It’s always a treat to dine at Michelangelo's. It is one of the best restaurants in our beautiful town of Big Sky. The service is impeccable.The food is fantastic, and the location is awesome. Always great service. The food is fresh and delicious, and the desserts are mouthwatering. Great selection of wine and cocktails.
