This easily just became one of our top 3 favorite places to eat in Big Sky. The food was absolutely incredible in every aspect. The quality for the price was excellent. I highly recommend to anyone visiting Big Sky.

Michelangelo’s Italian Cuisine in Big Sky is truly a gem! The bison ravioli and tortufa truffle pasta were absolutely amazing—rich, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. I also highly recommend the wagyu beef carpaccio, which was incredibly tender, and the calamari, which was perfectly crispy and fresh. The entire experience was fantastic, from the authentic Italian atmosphere to the warm and attentive service. Whether you’re craving a fine dining experience or looking for unique dishes, Michelangelo’s is a must-visit in Big Sky!

Our family's final vacation meal while in Big Sky was at Michaelangelo's, and wow was it a grand finale indeed! Special thanks to our server Ariel for being impeccably attentive, kind, and professional, all while navigating our large party of ten, including four children. The food was scrumptious, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and we cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Thank you for such a special evening!

The ambiance, staff and food is ALWAYS top notch!!! The Truffle Bags is AMAZING! Other favorites are the Pappardelle alla Bolognese, Beef Fillet with Trifolata and Truffled Potatoes* and Risotto with Mushrooms and Truffle. Thank you Michaelangelo's! See you again very soon!

The food was fantastic! One of best meals I have had anywhere. A bit pricey but similar to other restaurants in Big Sky. The food however was way above anywhere else we ate in Big Sky area. Shrimp appetizer was phenomenal, unlike any I have ever had. The main course and also 1/2 plate of risotto we shared were also fantastic. Bison steak with mushroom sauce (calling it mushroom sauce does not come close to doing it justice) fingerling potatoes and broccolini was definitely one of best entrees I have ever had, and I travel a lot and eat at fine restaurants all over North America. Recommend highly!!

Ordered by our group: Appetizer: Calamari-the sauce that the calamari "floated" in tasted like watered down tomato soup. Entrees: Bison ravioli, Veal, shrimp linguine and salmon. All but the linguine was heavily salted. The service was mediocre. The waitress began acting friendly when we got close to paying our bill. For the price you pay here, I would expect so much more. Will let our Big Sky friends know our experience.

Outstanding dishes and service. Our waitress gave us a ton of recommendations on Yellowstone and dishes to eat. We really appreciated having the small plate size option. No one in my family can eat a huge restaurant size portion and we appreciated not wasting food since we were staying in a nearby hotel. Highly recommend.

Great spot for a large groups who want impeccable service and atmosphere. They easily accommodated our group of 8 and our server, Heather, did an amazing job. She made thoughtful suggestions (asking what we normally get, what we were thinking and helped us make the perfect choice for us) and was always there when we needed her. My nephew has a food allergy and she was great about checking the items he was considering. I had the Bison Ravioli (one of her recommendations) and it was delicious!! My MIL and some others were here before and had the Lemon Piccata Chicken - it wasn’t on the menu but Heather asked the chef on their behalf and he made it for them. (I got a taste and it was so good.) Hubby had the filet (along with a couple others) and they were prepared perfectly and tasted great! Nephew tried the bison steak and shared a bite with his aunt…my first taste of bison steak - it was tender and tasty. He loved it! We also enjoyed a nice bottle of wine from their HUGE selection and of course we all had dessert: crème brûlée, chocolate mousse, tiramisu and salted caramel gelato…all were yummy!! Great atmosphere. Great food. Great service. Perfect end to our family vacation.

An absolute must visit. We had a reservation. we were greeted professionally and all the staff were very attentive and polite.We got the calamari and waygu apps, both were outstanding. For dinner I had the sacchetti, my husband had the elk medallions, and we shared a small portion of the bolognese. I love that they have an option for small portions to try different things. Can’t wait to go back!

Very pleased to get a high top table @7 pm without a reservation. Excellent fun service, delicious Buffalo strip steak and a different sauce than what was the special. Great dinner!
