This place is a MUST stop if you like steak. The building is historic and has a ton of character. The stained glass and chandeliers are beautiful! It’s wood from floor to high ceiling. You’re a bit close to other tables but you won’t mind once your steak come out, cooked perfectly to your liking- and if you’re a mashed potato fan, then you must add mushroom gravy on top. The blue cheese dressing seemed extra tasty as well. An absolutely splendid dinner in a great spot, plus we could hear the live music from the Westerner next door. I highly recommend stopping here!!

Food was good but not great. Onion Soup was tasty, but not hot enough. Steak was good, nice cut of meat, but needed more flavor. Place was VERY understaffed, mainly one server (Derek) working all 15 or so tables. Kudos to Derek, who kept his cool and did his best. But it took way too long to get any service.

I so wanted to give 5 stars across the board.
Sure the steak was good, but at a place like this I was expecting real good.
The service was good but maybe just lacking in personality. A smile is all it would've taken to get the 5th star.
Atmosphere, you can't buy it. What a cool place and it alone maybe a good enough reason to eat here.

We went last night and the highlight is definitely the friendliness of the team.
I had a prime rib and it was good.
Definitely worth it to go back,
if you are in the area.
We had to wait more than an hour for our table...so plan ahead.

Extremely low quality cuts of steak that were too tough to chew and entirely tendons and fat - very disappointed. One steak was slightly edible while we left the other completely untouched. Waited 30+ minutes to be checked on. After pointing this out the bartender was only willing to give a $10 reimbursement. Feel sick from the portion we did eat. Unfortunately I used to love this place but now will not be back.

This was the worst meal we had while in Montana. Neither my wife nor I’s steaks were properly cooked. We would have sent them back but our server never came by the table to ask how things were. Glasses from both the bar and at our table were dirty. This place had been recommended by some local folks. The rustic nature and old west theme provide a great opportunity to deliver a first class, unique dining experience. Unfortunately the ownership, or management, doesn’t put a premium on customer service. When our server brought us our bill I told her we were very disappointed (which should have been obvious since both of our steaks were only about 1/3 eaten), she apologized. We were not offered an opportunity to speak with management. Any decent restaurant would have trained their staff to immediately involve management when a customer was that dissatisfied.

The waitress was friendly and did great. The food was very disappointing. The prime ribe tasted like it was reheated from the day before. The tenderloin was chewy, the mashed potatoes were cold. Not worth the price.
