We came early to have a cocktail and just hang out. This was highly recommended by multiple people, firmer Montanans owner of Savor Bozeman, and acquaintances. Did it meet up to what these people said. Yes and sadly no. Yes, the steaks had awesome flavor. Yes, Servers were on their game and took care of us. No, Cooking staff in reading the meal ticket left a lot to be desired with our dinners. No, We requested salads with lettuce other than spring greens and got spring greens....
Amazing food, I was blown away by the quality of their specials. We had chicken fried steak and chipotle beef and rice soup. The gravy on the mashed potatoes was a symphony of flavors. There was so much food that I took the soup to go.The service was pleasant and fast, they had several great photos on the walls.
This was a great place to get a feel for local vibe. Nothing fancy, just good food and pleasant service; a good bit of history too! The broccoli was the best I’ve had in a restaurant, simple and delicious
