This place is a MUST stop if you like steak. The building is historic and has a ton of character. The stained glass and chandeliers are beautiful! It’s wood from floor to high ceiling. You’re a bit close to other tables but you won’t mind once your steak come out, cooked perfectly to your liking- and if you’re a mashed potato fan, then you must add mushroom gravy on top. Food was good but not great. Onion Soup was tasty, but not hot enough. Steak was good, nice cut of meat, but needed more flavor. Place was VERY understaffed, mainly one server (Derek) working all 15 or so tables. Kudos to Derek, who kept his cool and did his best. But it took way too long to get any service.

I so wanted to give 5 stars across the board.
Sure the steak was good, but at a place like this I was expecting real good.
The service was good but maybe just lacking in personality. A smile is all it would've taken to get the 5th star.
Atmosphere, you can't buy it. What a cool place and it alone maybe a good enough reason to eat here.
