I travel the country a lot and absolutely love getting French toast. I can’t say how many I’ve ordered in my travels- this is the worst french toast I have ever had. Idk how you could make something so bland but they did. It sucks because I hate to complain when there’s just one girl doing everything but I can’t sit here and say she was friendly, we didn't even get greeted with a hi or smile. This could be because she’s overworked and tired but a smile can go such a long way. Also the apple juice was acidic and when I mentioned it she just plopped the jug of it in front of me without a word as if proving that isn’t not expired would mean anything and if that what I tasted couldn’t be possible? Apple juice can get acidic if you open it and don’t use it in enough time. Regardless I was very nice about it and said I would just have water but it was really awkward to have her just slap it silently in front of me.

Great little nostalgic Diner! Diner menu items with Breakfast all day. I just had a Burger and fries and enjoyed every bite!
Kudos to the ONE cook, waitress, hostess, call taker and Very professional, personalble, friendly person who did it ALL by herself!
She was wonderful!
Blame the 4 stars on ownership/ management on making one person run the whole show.

Visited Glendive on a lazy Saturday, had lunch at Penny’s and it was so yummy and the staff were exceptional. Highly recommend! I love old diners (:

Very poor management! Only two ladies working who were clearly overwhelmed — and one of them was responsible for the hotel check in also. The food was good (although they microwave some things which I didn’t appreciate), but the experience was extremely disappointing. Other than the fact that it’s 24h, I wouldn’t not come here again.
Took my son to Penny's today! Not only did EVERYONE attend to us but they also communicated with each other to know what needs had been met what needs still needed to be met! This place has great food! A fun atmosphere and is always a highlight whenever we stay in Glendive 😍
