My husband and I have been here before, food was pretty good service wasn't the best. We decided to give it another shot. This time we were in the bar. Our server Trish was awesome. The reviews really dont lie she is a phenomenal waitress, very kind young lady. Salad bar was good had tons of options everything was delicious. We felt the need leave a review. This is our new favorite spot. Will definitely be back.

Cattlemen’s Cut Steakhouse, 1400 Market Pl Dr, Great Falls, MT 59404. After a long, successful week of business, we kicked off the evening with an IPA and a Chocolate Martini, the kind of dessert cocktail that blends vodka, chocolate liqueur, and cream into something smooth, rich, and celebratory. It set the tone perfectly. There’s something special about dining in a state where beef isn’t just food, it’s culture. These chefs know cattle the way Californians know seafood, and you can taste that confidence in every plate. Any restaurant bold enough to serve Rocky Mountain Oysters is telling you, without saying a word, “We know our craft.” But what surprised us most was how effortlessly they handled seafood too. Coming from the West Coast, we know fresh seafood, and these Montana chefs rose to the challenge with pride. The salad bar was fresh and inviting, and the shared crab cakes were a standout: jumbo lump crab, roasted red pepper, scallions, and a lemon‑dill‑caper aioli that tied everything together. It was the kind of appetizer that makes you slow down and appreciate the moment. Shrimp Pasta A La Vodka, A generous serving of sautéed shrimp tossed in garlic, crushed red pepper, tomato, vodka, and cream. The sauce clung to the pasta just right, and the garlic toast on the side made it feel like a warm, home‑cooked meal. Porterhouse Pork Chop, A 12‑ounce chop cooked with the kind of confidence you only find in Montana kitchens. The Jack Daniels apple compote added a sweet, smoky finish, and the seasoned mashed potatoes and cow pie chips rounded out the plate with comfort and character. If you find yourself in Great Falls Montana whether for business, family, or adventure, Cattlemen’s Cut Steakhouse is the spot you want to end your day at.

I came here with a group of three. We ate here about a year ago and service was okay and food was alright. Decided to give it another shot and boy were we surprised I had the prime rib cowgirl cut and it absolutely amazing and perfectly cooked my husband had the chicken fried which he said was wonderful. Our waitress Tricia topped our entire experience she was awesome and funny. Highly recommend this place to everyone. We will definitely be back :)

I figured i would stop by to have a steak. It was a very nice quiet place wasn't real noisy like most restaurants are. I sat in the bar and was greeted by a young lady named Trish, immediately made sure I had everything I needed, even recommended drinks and food items. By far the best bartender I've ever had. Amazing salad bar and ribeye I have ever had. Highly recommend this place to others. Great experience!

I guess I should have read the reviews before coming back to a place we used to love. Years ago this was where you’d go to splurge on an expensive dinner. The expense is still there - just everything else has changed. I ordered the filet and was served what I’m 90% sure was a sirloin. It was “ok” by sirloin standards but if it was a filet - it was the lowest quality filet I’ve ever had. My wife ordered the chicken fried steak and it was on par with other reviews - just a low quality premade frozen breaded steak. My son’s burger was also a bulk frozen patty and all of the fries were low budget frozen fries.

Lastly the salad bar used to be why we came. Now it’s wilted lettuce and maybe 1/4 of the old options. Oh and the credit card fee. That should be disclosed up front, not thrown in as a surprise 4% fee at the end.

Pretty disappointed and can guarantee we won’t be back. Which is a shame because after just moving back to Montana it was on my list of favorite places to have access to again.

This also isn’t something you can fix by remaking it. We spent $100 on a dinner that should have been half that based on the quality we received. I’ve noticed the owner attacks anyone that says anything negative. Maybe take a step back and check where you cut costs quality wise and go from there first.

Edit. The owner replied. The owner is angry. The owner wants me to call so they can tell me I was wrong about my experience. The owner admitted they buy pre bacon wrapped frozen “filets”. Not Montana sourced beef. Weird that the quality tanked when they did that. The salad bar has two kinds of lettuce and cheese. Anyone remember when they had actual options? And soup? And fruit? And all kinds of different salads? The owner also attacked me for being out of touch. Ok then. You can still get great food for 2 adults and a child in great falls for $100. You just can’t get it here. Good luck.

Don’t come here often because we’re a cheap couple but my girl and I came here because we were feeling like steaks! I love the fact they have a salad bar! That’s unheard of now days. The ribeye was great! Not to much fat! My girl had a New York and was totally satisfied! Love this place!!

We’re visiting from Canada and tired of driving then we saw this place and only walking distance from where we’re staying. Randomly walked in and we were amazed by the portions of the food. Our server is soo amazing too. Will definitely come back

Server was super rude, steak was dry as hell. Our food tasted like it was made from a frozen bag then microwaved. Never will be back, way overpriced. Steak was way undercooked, I asked for medium and I got rare and sent it back, then it came back still very close to rare.
