The reviews here are horrible and I see why.

The salt and pepper shakers were disgusting. Clean them.

The good? The ice water ... and the bread and butter were very good. Even though the water glasses were streaked with who knows what.

PROBLEM 1: No handicapped entrance? Are you serious? I will be reporting that.

PROBLEM 2. The chefs up front were giggling, joking, sniggering, and laughing in the kitchen. It's inappropriate, unprofessional, disrespectful, and can spread germs to the food and prep surface areas. Spittle from the mouth goes onto the food and surfaces.

PROBLEM 3. The lighting is so dark in the kitchen up front? Not good.....need bright lights to cook. I'm surprised that hasn't been written up by inspectors.

PROBLEM 4: Steaks were cold. Pasta was cold. Potato skins were cold. Lobster was cold. ALL HOT FOOD ARRIVED COLD. Very cold. The shrimp for the shrimp cocktail was floppy and slimy. This reeks of it being old.
The potato skins tasted like they were at least 5 - 10 days old and pulled from the back of a refrigerator somewhere across the ocean, before being sent by a slow boat around the world, then arriving at that restaurant to be served to customers.
The steaks were rubber. Couldn't even cut it. Nor could my guest. I was only able to eat 3 bites.

So why didn't I say anything? Because I was with a very special guest and didn't want to ruin the moment. That's why. I deserve a refund. Y'all need to step up your game over there. Roll up your sleeves and get involved. Take pride in what you serve.

I was honestly pretty bummed out about how bad everything was here. My first impression was me trying to get my babies stroller in the door while the blonde front lady just watched. We ordered the breath and butter for an appetizer and the butter was literal crumbles and couldn't smear it on the bread so we just used the garlic. My pasta came out and the chicken was warm but the noodles were cold. Asked the server if I could get it warmed up, she agreed then forgot apparently to come back to get it. Tracking her down she then microwaved it. Overall none of us cared much for the food. Place really took a turn for the worse last few years. I'm my opinion save your money and try somewhere else.

It was OK. The food was good but our reservation was for 730 and our food didn’t get out until 840 and I don’t know. I just don’t see the hype.

From start to finish an excellent meal, superb service, very nice atmosphere. House salad was fantastic with a house ceaser Gorgonzola dressing. Excellent basket of bread with butter and roasted garlic spread. Entrees were great - pecan chicken breast and Cajun Chicken Alfredo. Overall a memorable experience.

Our waitress accommodated us... group of 4,and then 10!

Yesterday was the last time we will ever eat at Dante’s. Waited 50 minutes to have our order taken! And then, Sadly, the food was so absolutely terrible we were unable to eat it. I’m pretty sure it would have made us sick if we did eat it. We’ve never had food that bad in Dante’s before. We’ve never had food that bad anywhere before! The place was also very dirty. Our hands stuck to the chairs from years of not wiping them off. The manager had to be called and thankfully, she didn’t make us pay for our torturous experience and we left hungry and disgusted.

Excellent place for lunch. Beautiful interior with great food.

The chicken Milano was horrible with almost no chicken, cold and presented like a pathetic stew.

Waitress was having a bad night, couldn't keep orders straight. No worries we are patient. We had no appetizers or soup and salad so you would think the meal would come sooner. We were partially served 1 1/2 hours after arrival. The sides on 2 steak meals were mixed up. Asparagus on the steaks was cold. Filet mignon was a hockey puck, ordered medium. New York steak, ordered medium, arrived rare. Chicken parm was charbroiled under counter heat waiting on the steaks. Didn't see waitress again for 30+ minutes after meals were dropped off. She'd promised a dessert to my parents for their 50th Anniversary and didn't remember when she came back finally did come back.

The food was terrible. Had beer battered shrimp, it was over cooked, greasy and cold, garlic mashed potatoes were cold and no flavor. My companions had lobster which was tough. Will not go there again

We ate in the bar area on a Wednesday night. Server Tony was on top of everything.
The seafood linguini and the walleye entrees were excellent. Nice place!
