I'm glad I went here. This was a wonderful find and a great place to eat. If you're looking for something filling, healthy, and not heavy, I recommend this place. It was so good that I was really tempted to get another bowl to go. Instead when I made it back to my place, I did my best to recreate the dish I had. Definitely, going to put it on my list of restaurants to visit again the next time I travel through the area. Atmosphere was nice and open and because of the big windows, it was a nice view of outside while it was raining.
Vegetarian options: This is both a good place for vegans and vegetarian.
Parking: It was a little hard to get in, find parking, and also the place due to the location being squished around an apartment complex, bank, and other restaurants.
Wheelchair accessibility: It's on the first floor, so it's easy to get in, but because of the placement it'll be pretty difficult for those in wheelchairs to get in and move around. Crutches are no problem, though.

The Brazilian style bowls are unique and delicious and add a much needed alternative to the bleak culinary variety in this area. With so many options to choose from there is something for everyone to enjoy. Don't forget to grab some Pao De Queso (cheese rolls) with your meal.

We heard about 5 on Black from a friend who is a health nut and said we needed to try it. What a great explosion of flavors I've never tasted before! The prices have gone up a bit, but the food is amazing and you get a lot for the cost. One of our favorites stops!
Amazing food amazing service but dine in is not for the Nero divergent... Loud music. Not bad just loud. But in their defense it says right on the sign they play their music loud. ?

We are not from around here but enjoy healthy dining options so we tried 5 on Black. We’ve eaten at different restaurants across the US and this is one of the top restaurants of this type that we have been to! The food was fresh and healthy, it included a good ratio base, protein, and other ingredients, was well priced, and the staff were very friendly! They seemed happy to explain to us what everything was so we knew what we were getting. We highly recommend this restaurant!
