Pretty good place if you want a sweet treat, but one small issue, they are closed on Mondays, and we called asking if they would be open on Mondays and we were told yes. But no when we showed up they were closed.
Hempl's, in my mind, is from the Latin derivative meaning, great donuts & pastries.
Even at the earliest of hours, you are greeted with a smile (not to mention still warm donuts).

My sister ordered a champagne cake for our mother’s birthday and it was delicious. It’s been a lot of years since I’ve had one of these delicate cakes, but it was just as I remembered. I’ve never had a bad cake, donut or pastry from this local gem.
