Their cocktails are so unique and the vibes and atmosphere are eclectic and cozy. I tried the drop the beet cocktail which was earthy and light, and I tried the manzanita de ojo which tased like apple crisp! It seems like there is a lot going on throughout the whole week and I am looking forward to attending more of their weekly events!

Delicious German beer. All day happy hour on Sundays. No food available in the winter months but they do brats in the summer. You can also bring your own food. Owner is very friendly!

The kellergeist is such a special little gem. It has an Eclectic community of people who are their regulars. The owners are fantastic. Matthias is originally from Bavaria and brings the European feel to his bar. His wife Jolene keeps everything organized and running smoothly. The bartenders and staff are fantastic. They serve up intricate handcrafted cocktails in a relaxed environment. You can come to the Keller guys not knowing anybody and leave with friends every single time. It is hands down my favorite place to hang out in great falls. The drinks are amazing and the environment is really something special.

They serve the best bowls of neverending pretzels ever! And are conveniently located in the right place for food trucks and local restaurants if want other choices. The beers are cheap, cold and tasty and their mixed drinks leave your palate doing somersault of joy. Their service is always quick and full of smiles and great conversation. Walking into Kellergeist is always a treat, full of energy entertainment and feels like family. Check out the back where its spacious and homey! Met a lot of great friends here that get to know you and greet you like you've always known them!

If you are into waiting 35-40 minutes for a warm $12 beer, this is the place for you. They advertise brauts and sausages but don't actually sell food. Super cramped up front, the back is dingy and dirty.

Two things. I am a u.s.military veteran. And I came here to have a beer. However the lady behind the counter is from Australia and doesn’t know what a u.s. passport looks like. That is one stupid, and two, how do you work in the U.S. and in a military town and not know what a passport is…

This is a German-themed bar. We were disappointed to find the only food available was brats that someone was grilling outside on demand. There is a TINY front bar area and it was very difficult to order with people seated at the limited seating at that bar area. We stood in line for several minutes while the people seated at the bar were served three separate times while the standing patrons waited to place a drink order. It took even longer just to close our tab at the end of the night.
They do have a larger area in the back where there is a separate bar and a large dance space and stage for a band. There was only one bartender at the back and it was also difficult to get a drink there.

The restaurant is no longer open. They have a pub/theatre a block away now. Still good draft German beer selection.
I went to Kellergeist to get some German food, as is advertised on the Internet.... THEY NO LONGER SERVE FOOD AT ALL. So, as can be expected, I was VERY disappointed. I live over an hour away and rarely get to Great Falls, so this was going to be a real treat (I've been jonesing for Berliner Curry Wurst), instead I got nothing and wasn't impressed...

I recently dined at Kellergeist and had a fantastic experience. The meal was exquisite, with a variety of delicious options that satisfied my taste buds. The beer selection was impressive, offering a nice complement to the flavorful dishes. The atmosphere of Kellergeist was welcoming and cozy, creating the perfect ambiance for a memorable evening. I couldn't help but notice the buzz surrounding the drag shows that the restaurant occasionally hosts. It's a shame I missed out on witnessing one of these performances, as I've heard they add an extra layer of excitement to the dining experience.Overall, my visit to Kellergeist was delightful, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food, good beer, and a vibrant atmosphere. I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for future drag shows so I can catch one next time!
