My wife and I have been coming to Magpie since it opened. Always have loved the service and quality of the food. Tonight, we did not have a good experience. I just hope that it is not the norm. It took 45 minutes to get a beer. 45 minutes after ordering our food before our server told us that the appetizer we ordered was not available, and 20 more minutes before our food arrived with her dish being cold and not up to the standard of charging $20+ for the entree. Lyla and the Magpie team were our bartenders for our wedding and we are so glad we worked with them. They worked with us in advance to create a totally personalized cocktail menu. Lyla is very professional and also really fun, it was a pleasure to work with her. They were respectful of our budget and brought joyful energy to our reception.
