The food was decent, they had margaritas, but we weren't satisfied. Everything was overpriced, and every item had commonly complimentary items removed and upcharged as an add-on option. Chips/salsa had a charge for refills, and weren't free, margaritas were a bit weak, and the food was basic. Rice and beans were not included in the meals.

Susie could not have cared less about her job!! Her greeting after a horrific long wait was “are you ready to order or do you need more time?” Once ordering she rushed all of us including my cutest little kid orderers… And everything proceeded to go downhill from there…after we got our food it wasn’t “how is everything?” It was “do you need anything else?” Waited forever for water refills, had to pay for chips and salsa and all the chips were broken, my tostada was squishy and couldn’t be picked up, my sons enchilada had only chicken inside and no cheese or sauce on top and my daughters nachos were literally chicken and a pile of melted cheese…no other toppings! When the check was dropped off it wasn’t “thanks for coming in” or “have a good night” it was here’s your check and she walked off. Customer service 101 is if you are in customer service and like money you should probably provide customer service. Maybe a job in the dish pit would better suit this server who is in such a rush!

we HAD to quit going here about 6 months ago, service was so BAD, got ignored, or treated rude for NO REASON, food quality varies, sometimes meat is tough, other times good. Sad because, we used to love it. It's ok, cuz we love La Cocina, they treat us kindly, the way we Always treat our servers, & we NEVER get ignored here, or get rude looks.
