The food was excellent. They had a large group of 55 people that just got in before us and our service was still excellent. I really don’t know where the bad reviews came from as they couldn’t have that much of an off day. There is a person dedicated to the salad bar that is constantly refreshing and tidying it up. We will definitely come back as it was great.

What a terrible experience. When we got there, the person receiving us growled at me because I had requested not to be placed near the bathroom door. She proceeded to places at the kitchen door! The booth we ended up at was ripped. The salad bar is very basic. There are bread baskets in the warmer but they don’t let you take them, only what you think you will eat. My medium rare came rare: sent back, no apologies or nothing. My wife’s medium well was flavorless, the crab cakes probably from Sam’s. And they charge you extra if you use a credit card. Never again!

The was the best steak we have had in Montana. The salad bar is a don't miss item. It is full of a fresh selection of salads but be careful or you will be too full to enjoy your steak!!! Macy was an exceptional server and I hope you are lucky enough to have her. She has a delightful attitude and very attentive without feeling like she is having dinner with you. I think this was the best date night in a couple of years!!!

Tried to make a reservation and they told me they're full. I did call on father's day but it was for my anniversary a few days later but they don't have time to talk about any other day. Today's fathers day and they can't talk. Then why you answer the phone? Horrible service, guess I won't be making reservations at this

We are staying next door for business, and walked down here for a “good steak dinner”. After a 10-minute wait to be acknowledged and seated at the door, we sat in a booth in the lounge for over 20 minutes without being greeted or served even water. It was like we were invisible. Wow. 35 minutes in the restaurant and no one even acknowledges your presence??? UNACCEPTABLE. We gave up and left. Walked next door to another restaurant; and we are eating as I write this review. A) PISS-POOR customer service B) Cannot rate the food, since we were never served. C) Steak prices (shown on the menu) we’re VERY high. Overall, a bad combination and a bad experience. This place has problems. Approach with caution.

Having never been to Montana, I was looking for a decent steakhouse (seems reasonable). I was leaving my hotel (one of the better ones in town) and asked a few people in the lobby if they knew the area, and what they would recommend. They agreed that Cattleman’s Cut was the place to go. The desk clerk also chimed in with her vote. Last time I do that! What a poor excuse of a restaurant. Hardee’s has better salad bars. The steak was poorly seasoned and prepared. The baked potato was meh. The bartender was surly. The atmosphere aligned with a blue collar bar. Shame on me - I didn’t read the reviews until after I went there. Bottom line - do not waste your time or money on this place.

Way overpriced for what you get. Got the prime rib sandwich. $24. For that price you would have thought it would be piled high with meat.( 2)1/8 slices of prime rib. Very dissappointed. Not going back

I arrived in town and went to Cattlemen's Cuts for a early dinner. First let me say this place from what I could tell was very clean. The food is very good and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. Rob, a waiter gave me great ideas for what to order. Plus, Rob went the extra mile to make certain I had everything I needed for my dinner. I highly recommend Cattlemen's Cuts to anyone needing a excellent meal and a place to chat over dinner. (A+) Cattlemen's Cut.

Only one waitress and place was busy. She forgot items had to be asked a couple times. The food quality was fair but certainly not worth the prices. Part of my dinner was room temperature.

We have eaten here several Times and so far the food has been really good and the customer service is good as well.

Had a Ribeye steak that was terrible. The quality of meat is poor. No flavor. Asked for medium and it was very dry no juices left. Baked potato was very small. All this for $42 way over priced for what you get. I will never eat here again!! I would be embarrassed to call this a steakhouse. I am embarrassed for Great Falls. On a positive the waitress was very friendly and did a great job! Go to Montana Club they have amazing steaks.

Trust the other poor reviews. I gave it a shot because there was a couple recent, good reviews. I also thought it's a steak joint in Montana how can it be bad? Well my Tenderloin was like chewing on leather, cooked a proper medium rare so it wasn't because I had them overcook it. I've had beef jerky that was more tender. I assure you it wasn't a tenderloin, being a guy that butchers his own meat I know tenderloins don't have a tough blue skin like this did. It was tougher than most ribeyes. Not to mention the steak didn't even taste that good, a bit gamey/Improperly aged. 2 double tall drinks and a steak plate for $91 with tip, the server was good so I didn't punish them, the server is the reason for 2 stars instead of 1. Waste of money.

1st time there and didn’t think it was that great. Steak had no flavour, baked potato was blah and the shrimp scampi was just plain shrimp in butter, nothing exciting about the experience.
