If you’re looking for high-quality food, service, and ambiance in the bitterroot valley, look no further. I had an incredible experience here and I cannot wait to go back. I ordered an array of dishes and none of them disappointed. From the appetizers to entrees, to the deserts, everything was truly delicious and 5 stars. Here’s what we ordered: fall squash soup, hamachi sashimi, carpaccio, wedge salad, flat iron steak, chuck pot pie, 24hr potato, chocolate & banana ice cream, and milk & honey!!! Can’t wait to be back!!

Was here for a birthday dinner with a dozen friends and the waiter was overwhelmed and the chefs struggled. Birthday girl didn’t even get her food and it seemed like error after error on a busy night. We eat here often but really hesitant on even going there again. As a local and a restaurant owner I understand things happen and in all fairness their food is good when they’re on their game.

I recently dined at Ember and I can't praise it enough! The experience was nothing short of exceptional.
First, let's talk about the food. The Marbled Meats flat iron steak was truly a highlight… perfectly cooked, incredibly tender, and bursting with flavor. We also had the salmon from Chile, which was equally impressive. It was cooked to perfection, flaky, and beautifully seasoned, making it a delightful addition to our meal.
What truly stood out was the price point. For the quality of the dishes and the care put into each bite, the prices were incredibly reasonable. High caliber of dining at an accessible cost.
The service was absolutely outstanding. Brooks, Jamie and Chef Brandon made sure that we were consistently taken care of.
To top off our lovely evening, we left with a beautiful flower bouquet for our anniversary.
Overall, Ember exceeded our expectations in every way. From the delicious food to the attentive service and the extra special touch for our anniversary, this restaurant is a gem. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience!

We threw a last minute request to seat four at 5:30 on a Saturday while an event was in town. The phone call started out in confusion then quickly came under control, leading to a very reasonable accommodation. We had excellent experiences with the menus, the food, the staff, and what can only be called the professionalism.

24 year anniversary dinner. We had a little bit of a hiccup with the waiter not entering our order, but the chef was a complete star and handled it like the professional he is. Taking extra care to make sure the night and food was perfect. To top it off the family at the table next to us (wish we could thank you in person) paid our entire meal and drinks tab. We are so very thankful to you and Ember for a wonderful anniversary.

I have visited Ember a few times. Every time the food is delicious. This time I started with the Wagyu Beef Round Carpaccio. It so was good. I would definitely order it again. They had Salmon as one of their specials so I tried that with garlic whipped mashed potatoes. Also delicious!

The food is absolutely delicious. They really do such a great job with their unique menu. The service though, we were very disappointed. It took over 15 minutes to even be greeted and get drinks. The amount of time in between drinks and ordering food is astronomical. We sat with desert menus for 30 minutes and finally gave up without ordering. My husband was never offered another beer. I was so let down because it really detracted from how great the food is. It really seems the staff is not efficient and needs more training. For how much you pay, it was not worth it. The price, to me, means that I will have impeccable, timely service. The two tables beside us were also unhappy. We didnt even speak to our waitress after ordering our dinner. Over an hour later.

A great find in Hamilton, a relatively small town with ~5000 people. The food/service was excellent and on par with similar restaurants in other parts of the country. I only wish they diversified their menu more; 4 out of 8 dishes were beef-based (3 were steaks I think?) and the rest was chicken/pork. Having bison/elk/venison on the menu would make the offering so much more interesting and representative of the region.
We loved it! Fun fancy place for the bitterroot. The asparagus morel soup was amazing. The sea bass was ever so slightly fishy, but no complaints about anything else! Just try to drink your water to the bottom here, they’ll be by your side filling it.
