The Hanger has a great atmosphere, good service, and really good food! I recommend it to anyone looking for a good place for a bite to eat, but Vonnie is rude and unwelcoming she rushed me through my order.

Waitresses are rude unwelcoming and disrespectful to all ends. They will walk through the restaurant complaining about customers coming in especially the short round one with brown hair. This isn't the first time my son and I have dealt with her bad attitude and disrespect and she should find other employment.

This local restaurant came highly recommended by a family member - we have been in the area for 4 generations, but had not had an opportunity to meet up there. We brought our cousins from out of state, but were confronted at the door by a surly waitress who rudely let us know that for parties of more than 6 we needed reservations (we had 6 & a baby - 4 small children total). We apologized for not knowing their rules & asked if we could still be served. Waitress stated that the policy was clearly listed on the door (it wasn't?) And since they only had 1 cook, they would not be able to help us. We asked if she was asking us to go somewhere else & she said that it was horrible to teach our children this way. What an embarrassing & uncomfortable situation - all from a simple misunderstanding. We enjoy supporting local businesses much as possible, but this was ridiculous

Go here for the food. Never have we had bad food here! Don't let the rundown atmosphere scare you off. Don't let the (sometimes bad-attitude) server scare you off either. LOL. There are seats where you can look toward the Sapphire mountains- pretty views ocross the runway. Make a reservation if you have six or more in your group- or they won't let you stay... weird, I know.
One of my favorite spots to eat in the bitteroot! I normally go here during the summer when you can sit outside and watch the planes taxi and take off. The food here is wonderful, and the service is amazing! I normally get two pancakes with two scrambled eggs along with a couple cups of coffee. If you’re here for during the summer I would always sit outside, you get a wonderful view and watching the planes go by is super fun! If you ever need to good place to get breakfast in Hamilton this is a really good spot.

Really sad to see what has happened to this place. The attitude and service from the staff is very poor, makes you feel unwelcome. food is fine per usual but the service is ridiculous.everyone has bad days/rough patches in life but for f sake, get it through your skull that your personality directly dictates your tip compensation and income as well as the well being of the business.
