Delicious food, drinks and pastries! We live locally and are so grateful to have this wonderful little restaurant in Hamilton. It’s our #1 favorite spot to stop for a coffee drink, pastry or lunch. While I was pregnant my biggest craving was their chicken salad sandwich and house salad. I also love their cream puff pastries. Most of the menu items seem to be made fresh from scratch, which can’t be said of most other restaurants in the area. It is a small restaurant and can get very busy at times (for good reason), so we avoid busy times and always call ahead if we are picking up food in their drive through. We love you Red Rooster!

Food is great and service is nice, but if they’re busy be prepared for a loooooong wait. On a Friday at 10am we waited 45 minutes for a burrito and a breakfast sandwich.

Very slow service and overpriced. Tables not bussed. Pretty loud outside seating on the hwy but quaint inside. Prob won't be back. Almost 1 hr wait for bagel and hash browns. They forgot me maybe on a Fri morning at 11.

Good food , the servers are very nice, an important restaurant for the community- *** don’t be in a hurry! Every time I’m here I have to wait an hour for any order no matter how basic it is- today after waiting 45 minutes for a spinach wrap the server came to me to say they were out of spinach—- pretty much sums it up
With that said the food is very good

Ordered my burrito over the phone I was told the way to half an hour. I get there and had to wait a half an hour even more for my burrito to be made . One burrito with eggs and cheese. Other people pulled in made there order and received there order before I received my called in order.
It was eggs and cheese what's the problem?

If you have a large event and want a variety of yummy desserts along with custom cakes, I recommend ordering from Red Rooster. The quality and size of each dessert was definitely a hit at our party. Owner Gabby Stamper is so easy to work with and her crew packaged every item professionally and everything was very fresh. From cake pops, cream puffs and coconut macaroons for the kids to lemon bars, 7 layer bars, mini cheese cakes, red velvet cupcakes and more for the adults to custom cakes for my hubby and granddaughter’s milestone birthday were perfect. Free delivery to local customers is a plus! And providing coffee and hot water in insulated dispensers was another service I utilized and the price was very fair! Thank you Gabby and crew for all the hard work in helping me create an awesome candy and dessert bar!!!

I ordered a piece of quiche and a latte. The quiche was brought to my table, piping hot, appeared to be warmed up in the microwave. It was warmed up too much, and the crust became very hard, and I was unable to eat it. My coffee drink was brought to me when I was done eating. Approximately 15 minutes after my breakfast was delivered.

Ask for a drink they were out of, so selected Orange Juice, which turned out to be a warm 10oz Tropicana from their warm storage - $6. Ordered a Brownie, which was so heavy and hard the first chunk broke off by pushing through with force behind the tines of a fork, tines that bent with the second chuck. They tasted like a poor imitation of Hersheys Milk Chocolate bars. The Almond Coffee cake was overly sweet and just plain dense.

Overall, I really like this little restaurant. It has been here for years but they have made some changes to the House salad with cranberries, goat cheese and walnuts. I 1st ate this salad there 10 years ago and it was amazing! Tons of everything in it with a large slice of their homemade bread and the lettuce popped out of the container. It cost $7.50 back then. Now it is ~$13.50 and no more bread, you get hard as rock bread crumbs now. Not to mention there isn't even any meat in this salad so I find the price a bit steep. I decided to give it another try yesterday and same thing but this time I could only find 2 pieces of walnuts and not nearly as much lettuce as they used to give. Sorry to have to leave another negative comment. On a brighter note, their bread and pastries are absolutely wonderful. Please bring back the slice of your bread and skip the croutons! Thanks
