I hate to give a local business one stars. Especially since so many restaurants have changed over the years, and this is an establishment that has been in the Bitterroot for a while. However, the food I had at this newer location was just awful. My fish taco was mostly frozen and my steak taco was soggy and cold. The tap beer tasted not even like an IPA, and considering the price it was extremely disappointing. The service was a bit abrasive to put it nicely, and I felt very frustrated after leaving this establishment. We were the only people there and so it’s not like they were slammed. I wish I could get this $50 and some dollars back, honestly. I hope this was a fluke.

Ever since moving to Montana, this was my go to lunch spot when I worked in Hamilton! They have the most fast paced, friendly employees ever, and I love coming here whenever I get the chance. Since moving towns, there’s one in my hometown of Florence now, so I don’t have to make a 30 minute commute! Their tacos and just the food alone is delicious. Definitely worth the stop, if you’ve never been.

Did not care for it. Not worth what you pay for it the steak taco with soggy mess had good flavor but too much salsa and the ground beef tacos they were just horrible and taste and way too much salsa

Went to their food truck at Bitterroot Brewfest at Daly Mansion. Paid $10 for taquitos with sour cream. Received a plastic cup with sour cream at the bottom and 3 Delimex box chicken taquitos that I buy myself from Super One. The EXACT same ones. Biggest scam I have ever seen.
Edit after owner response: All I hear are excuses instead of taking responsibility for an obvious mistake. First, putting taquitos in a plastic cup filled with sour cream is insane. Who does that? Second, no one explanation (overhead costs, etc.) can explain the business decision to charge $10 for 3 small taquitos. I own the mistake for not asking, thinking they were home made and bigger. That’s on me. Take responsibility on your part for what you charged for the product you provided IN A PLASTIC CUP.

Nice staff. Good food. Spacious and clean dining area. I had the pork mission supreme burrito and coke. Finished it in under 10 minutes.

Subpar tacos.
Tortillas are guaranteed store bought la banderita shells. And the corn ones are poor quality. Picked my food up within 10 mins of ordering it and it was cold. How is the meat cold… they have a hot rack for food prep. Very disappointing food quality. The fish taco was the only thing that was average.
Nothing to boast about at Taco Del Sol, because there is no soul in this food…
