We had an excellent lunch at The Brass Rail Chicken Restaurant. The awesome chicken was fresh cooked as were the great Jojo potatoes. Cole slaw was extra good. The manager/chef was personable, described our options, and provided great service. Would highly recommend The Brass Rail for an exceptional meal!

The Guy who answered the phone was rude and didn’t want to refund a order that was to salty to even eat then proceeded to tell me he didn’t use salt. Then said before I refund you bringing the chicken back tomorrow I open at noon what kind if kitchen is this. I told him I would take the chicken back and he could eat him self then tell me it’s not salty.

Our family loves this place!! Great food, probably the best I’ve ever ate!! If your hungry get the enchilada style burrito it is the best, I order mine with out rice!! It’s huge and tastes delicious!! We eat there a lot but have to cut back a bit because I don’t get much done after eating there, so in other words you won’t leave still hungry!! The owner are very nice and the waitress is very friendly. If you like Mexican give it a try you won’t be disappointed!!
Renavated and polished up! As soon as they get the liquor license its a great social hangout for beers.
Nice place to hang out with friends.
Stopped in for dinner with a friend while passing through the area. Finding the restaurant was a little tough as the front door doesn't stand out (neither does the restaurant signage). Street parking...don't know it of there was additional parking in the back. Nothing special looking about this place inside...sorta diner-like with a Mexico flair. You get the standard chips & salsa complimentary...average tasting. I opted for the #9 combo plate...taco and tamales. I complimented my order with a draft beer. My food was just OK. My friend didn't particularly rave about his meal either (don't recall what he ordered). From what I could find, this is the only Mexican food restaurant in this small town (I don't count Taco Bell). The food wasn't bad. But my overall experience was a bit blahzay. Since I feel I would have better enjoyed eating at Taco Bell, I can't give this place more than two stars (more like 2.8 stars if I could rate it that way). But you might have a different experience and should give this place a try for yourself before believing it is less than average.
Very friendly and quick service. The fajita quesidillas were tasty! Doesn’t look attractive from the outside but the service and food was very good!
