If you're hungry for pancakes and passing through this town in the morning, by all means stop in for breakfast. I've been to many diners around the country, and this is my favorite. The cakes were perfect in taste, color, size and shape. Butter and syrup were also top quality, and the scrambled eggs were fresh and fluffy. The staff was hard working and serious minded. Outside, the reader board message is quite cute.
This small town diner may not look like much, but the food and service were excellent. Locally sourced beef and eggs. Reasonable prices. The homemade vegetable beef soup, patty melt, garden salad with tuna salad, burger and daily special tri tip dip were all delicious. The strawberry rhubarb pie was perfect with vanilla ice cream.
