We found the Lunch Box through Yelp and with its 4.5 stars we decided to try it. To our disappointment, the coffee was just okay. My bagel was barely warm and stale on one end. Plain bagels are the only choice of bagels. The breakfast sandwich was very plain.

Hungry for lunch on the way to Glacier National Park, my boyfriend and I stopped here for a bite to eat. Upon waking in, it was unclear whether we were supposed to go to the counter or sit down and order, so we went to the counter. No one greeted us. A lady was there to take our order, so I asked her for a menu. Then she asked if we were eating in and when we said yes, she gave us a single menu and told us to sit wherever. The menu is VAST with lots of options. I went with the pastrami sandwich and a baked potato, both of which were tasty other than the thick rye bread on my sandwich. The single star is taken off due to the bread and the confusion and lack of professionalism in the restaurant. I would definitely stop by again though now that we know the protocol.

In Havre for a few hours during an extended drive (camping across the country). I needed two things: library time for wifi and lunch. Library just around the corner was great. The Lunch Box for lunch. My standard is a BLT and a cup of coffee. LB's BLT was good: thick sliced bread with slabs of bacon and a healthy dose of mayo. Getting fresh produce is not always easy in the middle-of-nowhere Montana, so my expectations for the lettuce and tomato were modest. The coffee was great. I got a fresh-baked cookie on the way out. The staff was attentive and kind. Thumbs up for the Lunch Box!

This is a perfect restaurant for a fast BIG lunch. The had probably about 80 options on sandwich’s. The sandwiches are really good, big, and fast.
My son and I were in Havre registering for Montana State Northern. We were looking for a place to go for lunch and heard about The Lunch Box. They have a very extensive sandwich menu (60+) as well as soups and salads. The food was great, service good and we were both happy with our choices. Definitely a popular place for locals.
