Great Huckleberry products from creamy honey to Huckleberry tea. The prices are great too.

I purchased $70 worth of item and the guy wont even pack the mugs, he threw some plastic bags and told me they dont pack things here. When i asked for a second bag, he was like you have to pay extra for more bag. And offered me refund if i would like. I dont know if he was being racist with me, or if that’s how Montana people behaves.

Had a burger 🍔 it came with just basic onions and pickles . The bun was pretty good 👍. Had a nice arcade set up for just about everyone .

Unique spot. We had cheese-burgers (with all the fixins'), sodas, split a small fry, and a slice of pie. Totaled up to $30. Felt like a pretty good deal to us! We were really impressed with how hard the owner works. Keep it up!

This was a fun store. Owner was so friendly. So glad that we stopped in! We were able to find some souvenirs and add some Huckleberry goods to our stash!

Neat little place. Lot's of the huckleberry options.

Poor quality goods on sale, looked more like a wholesale/thrift shop with stuff in boxes rather than on display.

Confusing aesthetic with authentic Huckleberry gift selection and fair prices!

In town for a family trip to Glacier National Park, I was intrigued by the fact that there are two stores that sell similar huckleberry products 1/4 mile away on the same road. Both have similar names and similar bear characters on the signs. I took the time to visit both and do some research. The two establishments have distinctly different vibes and I happily choose Willows HuckleberryLand!

Willows HuckLand has a DIY feel, from the product packaging and in store signage to their online presence. Huckleberry Patch felt like any generic gift shop. It’s kind of a Good Burger/Mondo Burger situation. Apparently Huck Patch is what has become of the original Willows family shop after it was bought out in the 80s. James Willows formed the current store more recently to continue the family legacy.

I would personally much rather support the small business run by a quirky (albeit somewhat controversial?) individual over a bland, chain store atmosphere. From what I understand, the Willows store uses more authentic ingredients and tends to win out in objective flavor contests. In exchange for this authenticity the store is peppered with the owners books, promotion for his YouTube channel, and free stickers for his anti-marijuana legalization campaign.

I can’t say I agree with or understand all of it. I can’t say that infusing the Huckleberry store with his other endeavors and views, and replying to negative reviews with rambling, seemingly unrelated conspiratorial claims is helpful to the success of the business.

But I really admire Willows individuality and dedication to share his thoughts with the world. I find the establishment uniquely human and American. We can’t have small businesses without the ambitious and eccentric small business owners. Willows HuckleberryLand is refreshing in a world quickly bending to the will of large corporate chains.

This is Huckleberry everything, we got Huckleberry honey,Huckleberry jam,Huckleberry shakes and 2 lbs of Huckleberries to take home

Shake was a huckleberry. I hope it was real huckleberrys in it. They advised they use real berries and not blueberries. But the ice cream has blueberries on the label so?(One of the ladies who was with me read the label after the employee allowed her to). Several of us ordered buffalo burgers, and one of us ordered a hamburger. All were very good. Buffalo burgers are not cooked to well done, they are medium . So if that bothers you, order them well done. 😉
