The food has went downhill. Terrible. It was cold and looked like something that would be served in a prison. Not exaggerating. We were very disappointed 😞

I like the location of this restaurant and it's view of the Yellowstone but thats about it. I ordered the Texas burger, it was the grossest burger ive ever had. Brisket was tasteless and dry, and the burger was too. They charged a dollar for a few jalapeños I requested for my burger, and even those did not help me eat the burger, nor did ketchup. The potatoes that came with it were burnt. My mom ordered the pulled pork plate and it was incredibly dry and should not be served to anyone ever! Terrible food. Really shockingly bad.

Good breakfast, affordable, good service. Portions were excellent, in fact, I couldn't finish. Sausage gravy and biscuits were a favorite.
The water was warm served in a kids size glass, my pulled pork was cold, the beef brisket was overdone and dry and our server walked by 4 times but never stopped to see how everything was until she brought the bill. We told her about the issues and there was no apology or even concern. Too bad for her and this restaurant
The food was just not it, ordered the brisket, and it was dry, and had barely any flavor. The baked beans were not good either. Overall, the service and atmosphere are welcoming, but i think they need to change their menu, or cook
Lost order twice! No prime rib no ribeye on a Saturday night. Ended up with sandwiches and appetizers. Bartender couldn't keep up with orders for drink. Green wait staff. Owner on sight more concerned about patio party. 8 discount still charge full price on credit card. Be a patron at own risk.
If I could give this place negative stars, I would. We walked in and were told to sit wherever we wanted. We sat down and watched 2 hostesses doing nothing but walking around and looking around the restaurant. They made it a point not to make eye contact with any of the patrons, who were all waiting patiently. 5 minutes went by. Then 10. Then 15. We finally asked a hostess if we could get some service, and she responded she would send someone over. We watched as the server (who had not even taken our drink order) took an order from the table behind us. Mind you, we were there before they were. At close to 20 minutes we were over it, and left HANGRY. I can't critique the food because we were never served, but even if it was a 5 star restaurant it is pitifully managed with crappy staff. Do yourself a favor and skip this place. We went right down the road to The Blue Cat where we were welcomed warmly and had our orders taken almost immediately.
I can't rate the food because after being seated our server never bothered to take our order. We waited over 30 minutes as we watched most of the staff walk around aimlessly and basically do nothing. After asking the hostess if our server would be over soon, we waited another 5 minutes and then walked out.
Incredibly dissappointing. Wasn't that busy, only one table ahead of us on ordering. Took well over an hour to get our food. Burgers cooked to hockey pucks, brisket cold, Mac and cheese barely warm. Ordered cheese curds and fries to come out early for kids to nibble on. Had to ask for the cheese curds again after everything else mostly arrived. Got the dried out fries in a small to go box as we were leaving after we watched them sit under the warmer most of the time we were eating. I'll feed them to our hounds. I've never sent an inedible burger back to the kitchen or not left a tip before and today we did both. They did remove the inedible burger off our bill which was appreciated. I understand some days are "off" but that experience will be the reason we support other local businesses for awhile.

Ally has always been pleasant and works hard. She always makes sure the customers are well taken care no matter how busy she gets. She is an awesome waitress and great asset to Cowboys. Her pleasantries keep customers like me coming back.

I love eating here, the staff is always friendly and personable. It’s a little dark inside but clean. The 1/2 of smoked chicken is to die for. My mouth water ms when I think of it. Fabulous smoked, tender juicy meat that is really have of a chicken No Joke! The price was so reasonable I was shocked! I have tried other things but always go back for chicken.

Beautiful river side setting with a western/sports bar look and big city feel. Great service and an awesome Prime Rib sandwich! The atmosphere only suffers, as I prefer the small town local bar attitude and charm.
