After moving to Joliet over 2 years ago, I finally decided to venture out for the evening. My best friend and I went in to the J Bar for food and drinks. Bonnie and Gary were very welcoming and so much fun to visit with! Bonnie poured a perfect cocktail. Gary cooked us some of the BEST burgers I’ve ever had! They were enormous and juicy with plenty of cheese and fresh toppings. I was beyond pleased with their fair prices as well. I’d definitely recommend making a stop in to the J Bar!?

This bar won't win any modern decor awards, but they serve great food. Gary, owner and bartender, makes the burritos and steak fingers himself and both are delicious. Their homemade fries are worth a trip to town. The Biker's Special (burger, fries and a beer) is tasty and priced right. A tv is above the bar and there is another in the bar area, there are pool tables in the back and slot machines too. Stop in for a cold beer, a adult beverage or even an ice cold soda. Gary is friendly and will make sure you don't leave hungry or thirsty!
