Came here during the summer for the first time ever for lunch. It was over an hour, if not longer to get a burger and some sort of basic pasta dish. The guy I came with I don’t think was well liked so maybe that had something to do with the crappy long service. We were polite and had no extra adjustments to our meals. The lack of attention to our drinks wasn’t great on the hot day either. Burger was good with some sort of bacon and the fries were also great. Messy and needed napkins which also took awhile to get. Seems like most restaurants in lakeside are this way but the local servers give the most attention if you appear wealthy. Otherwise don’t expect much if you’re going in casual or sober.

Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Even the view, even when overcast, is gorgeous. I would highly recommend having a private event here or just come in with a few friends for a great meal.

Harbor Grill is in my top three favorite restaurants in Flathead Valley. Always great food. My steak has always been cooked perfect medium rare, served warm, and well seasoned. The servers, bartenders, and managers are always smiling and have turned rough days into good days.

Signed, a real consumer.

This by far was the best all around! I love salmon and they cook it so perfectly! Every bite was like the first bite. I recommend this place for not only the amazing food, but the view is so beautiful overlooking Flathead lake! I will definitely be back!

This place is top notch! Kellen was absolutely amazing! We were hoping to celebrate our 15th anniversary at one of their events and he made it happen! We had so much fun! The owner Angela was so kind. All the food was phenomenal. Can’t wait to attend more events or stop by for a normal meal.

The food was delicious, but the service was slow. We waited quite a while for our food and based on something our server said, got the impression the kitchen only made one meal at a time. If it had been warmer outside, waiting with a drink or two out on the patio/waterfront would've made the wait seem shorter! Beautiful location and friendly staff.

Very good food. Cute atmosphere lots of Tv's for the games going on. Beautiful views of Flathead Lake. Tasty fries and great service. Server Kellen was amazing, he was able to take all 8 of our orders without writing it down, and everything came out perfect! Would highly recommend this place.

We had the most gorgeous view of the lake, our waitress was very nice. However the service was horrible. It wasn't 100% our waitresses fault as the host person came to clear our appetizers and took our menus before we ordered dinner. Because she took our menus our waitress thought we had ordered our dinner already and stopped coming to check on us. About 30 min after our table was cleared from appetizers we flagged our waitress down to let her know we would really like to order our dinner as we are starving. Our dinner was pretty good, our appetizer was awful. We had the trout appetizer, it was awful, dry, the dill sauce had so much dill sprigs in it we couldn't taste anything but dill. Our dinner food was pretty good, i had the ribeye and mashed potatoes, . The sad thing is we got there at 630 by the time we got out dinner it was 810 and completely dark outside, we could hardly see what we were eating as they have no lighting outside at all except along the water. Its a bummer we really were hoping for the perfect evening, as we barely go on dates. Besides the service not being great, sitting on the water and the view was just amazing.

Cons:
We came with our 4-month-old, and while we were initially greeted by a super friendly gentleman, the experience quickly shifted. An older woman approached us without a smile or acknowledgment and, before we could even say a word, told us “there’s no outside tables.” This wasn’t true—there were several open tables outside that were seated right after us. She placed us at a random low-top without asking if we preferred a high-top with a view.

When we asked for a high chair, we were told they were “all being used,” yet we saw four stacked in the corner, none were being used in the entire establishment, and the entire hour and a half we were there—unused the whole time. The overall feeling was that we weren’t welcome, likely because we had a newborn, as if she assumed our baby would disturb the atmosphere. It left us uncomfortable and unwelcome, even though the rest of the staff was lovely. The food was fine—nothing exceptional for the price point, the lobster was overcooked and the Alfredo and clams appetizer were bland.

Pros:
The views are gorgeous, our server and the rest of the staff were wonderful, and the live music added a really nice touch.. When our baby got fussy, I stepped out to the car so she wouldn’t disturb anyone, and our thoughtful server kept my meal warm for me until I came back.

Overall:
One person’s attitude unfortunately overshadowed an otherwise pleasant experience. The views, music, and staff (besides that one interaction) were great, but that initial impression made us feel like we didn’t belong there. Learn customer service I worked in customer service most of my life and there’s a way to treat people and the hostess doesn’t have it.

We arrived at 1:08pm to a partially full restaurant and were informed we would need to wait 10-15 min. We received a notification at 1:23 that our table was ready. We sat unattended for 10 minutes and put in our order of soup, 2 kids tenders and a burger. By 2:10 we asked if the food was coming soon because we were on a schedule and needed to leave soon. We were then informed it would be another 20 minutes. How does it take 1 hour to make what we ordered?! We left, hungry and upset. Absolute worst experience ever.
