Absolutely everyone who works here is very nice, I’m talking about the casino part. I love coming here for that, but if I’m being honest, it could be a little bit more lit even though I know all of the casinos keep things dim inside this one is a little bit too dim.Parking: If there aren’t spaces right along the building or the side of the building, if you’re going to the casino, you can park off to the side, a bit in the free parking lot.

We three seniors came here for a bite and drink. The service was so casual and friendly. Tammy, the owner came over to chat which was so nice. Our server, Steve, was so good and friendly. He went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and get us whatever we wanted. We stayed and played cards for a while and enjoyed our evening. Will be back.

Best chicken in town! More of a bar environment with food rather than a restaurant. Service was fast (we've only done takeout here) but for what we wanted, it was great.

When we came to Lakeside for the summer, our neighbors told us that the Short Branch had the best chicken in town. Boy, they were right! The breasted chicken is delicious - well seasoned, not greasy and very lightly battered.

Amazing people work here! We last minute tried to get dinner in the small town on a weekday and seemed impossible without over an hour wait and down the street was rude. This place saved us with amazing spaghetti night and my dad got the fish and chips which were great and 2020 prices. Also served us a free drink while we played the casino and waited for our food.

Fun little place. Good beer and they have cards/games. There was also a good truck there. The place is also dog friendly so you can bring your dog to hang out with you!

This place is great! Stop by for a drink, definitely get some food and try to win some money on a lucky machine. The staff is friendly and prompt. I love the Cobb salad and all of the delicious homemade soups. Cheers.
