I did not walk into McDonald’s. I ascended—levitated, perhaps—drawn by the siren call of sizzling fryer oil and the faint chorus of angels harmonizing “ba da ba ba ba.” As I pushed through the doors, I swear time slowed. A child dropped his Happy Meal toy, and it rolled in slow motion to my feet like destiny had arrived.

I approached the counter with reverence, whispering my order like it was a sacred rite. “One McDouble. One large fry. And… yes…...

We stopped while on the way to Yellowstone. All food is prepared to-go even for those dining in. The upcharge for drinks other than pop seems higher here than at our local McDonalds. I think that is the cleanest McDonalds bathroom I have ever seen!

I'm in here basically all the time, and the food is always great. The training is subpar, as I often have to remind some of the newer employees that the hot and spicy McChicken does, in fact, come in a meal.
