Recently I tried the lemon rolls similar to a cinnamon roll but it uses lemon buttercream frosting they were outstanding Shared them with the family-wonderful!
Their Eclairs are incredible. I am always stalking their FB page to see when they have them in their pastry case.

For coffee places, they have REALLY stepped up the baked goods since new owners in Aug. 2024. Yummy! Coffee beans are locally roasted, and drinks are great.

DELICIOUS! Only had coffee cake but it is the best I have ever had. I heard customers raving over fresh bakery items. The regular coffee is delicious as well as the seasonal lattes. Best part are the friendly employees. There are no strangers here 😉
I was just traveling through...but will make it a destination next time.

Stopped in for a quick coffee and breakfast on our way through town. Owner and family were SO friendly. Coffee was amazing, breakfast bagel and cinnamon roll amazing, choke cherry Italian soda amazing! Definitely recommend 🙌💯
This is my favorite coffee shop in Lewistown! They have the best cinnamon rolls. The coffee is good, too.

Rising Trout was an interesting place to go for breakfast. It is an eclectic little coffee shop with decent seating options, books for sale, and fun decor.
Having food allergies, I wasn't too optimistic about items I might be able to eat. There was one gluten-free option, nothing dairy free other than the two alertanive milks used in coffees. Things were clean, but I could see the potential for cross contamination. So watch out for that. I had a Chai latte with almond milk. It was tasty.
My husband said he really enjoyed the breakfast food and was impressed with the coffee. Kuddos to the staff and the atmosphere. We would return. I'm giving a lower rating for lack of allergy friendly food items, but all around a good place to stop.
Dietary restrictions: There is a lack of options for ones with food allergies. I would not recommend it if you have to avoid cross contamination.

Food was awesome! Never had such delicious breakfast bagel sandwitch before. More than the food, I loved how people welcomed us. People (not just person who is working in the cafe), but local people too. I felt like I wanted to visit the city of Lewis Town again, and talk to more and more people.

Service, food, and coffee were excellent! The dirty chai latte & caramel latte were exquisite. The breakfast sandwiches on bagels & cinnamon rolls were made perfectly. We will definitely be back!

Very attractive lady working the counter, very helpful and polite. Had the Trucker Bypass sandwich, one of the most delicious sandwich I've ever had. Also had a cinnamon roll that was very good. FAST FOOD AND GREAT SERVICE. Wish every town has one of these.
