My dad grew up in Libby, and our family gets back to the area often. It is so awesome to see a great local business like Smoking Gun pop up. Not only was the BBQ amazing, the owner is such a great guy.Definitely swing by when you’re in the area, it’s great BBQ! That’s coming from a guy who lives in Austin, Texas.

DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE!! An absolute MUST for the meat eater and lovers of smoke. The people who put the love into the food spill into the atmosphere. Every thing I've had is lip smacking, finger sucking, smack a mama delicious. Prices are very reasonable and portions are just right. Easy access to parking and a short distance from a park to enjoy some riverside eats. Find this place on the gut as the locals say.
Amazing food-we’ve lived here for 1.5 years and hadn’t tried them yet. We totally recommend visiting them for a meal.

Great lunch spot. Food comes out fast, and is so consistent I think they might be robots. I haven't tried the pizzas yet (but that'll happen soon), but everything I've had has been fantastic. I heard they cater as well.

Great food! The sauces and sides were on point and went along amazingly with the pulled pork and brisket sandwiches we had. And Jeremy couldn’t have been nicer.
You can be amazing, you can turn a phrase into a weapon or a drug, (a song writer once sung.)I stopped in here with an empty stomach, a song in my head, and a hankering for something to stuff into my stupid face.I ordered the hot sauce chicken Sammy with the coleslaw and fried tators and the fried tators was exquisite ( I says was, because if you're going to say fried tators you can't go halfway with the Southern linguistics).The fries were memorably delicious; The way they were cut was a way I have never quick encountered before with a fried tator and I was not disappointed.

I believe Smoking Gun BBQ is owed and worked by a wife and husband. I spent a week in a hotel in Libby, Mt.The Smoking Gun BBQ by far has the best food in town. The Brisket, Pulled Pork and Chicken were excellent ... tender, great taste and flavor. Sauces were excellent as well. The sides are a can't pass upcreamy coleslaw, great tasting beans, potato and macaroni salad. The only issue the hours Tuesday to Friday 11-5.Not knowing this earlier One day after a hike in the nearby forest. got back in Libby after they had already closed. My lost.Like I said great food, friendly people, fast service if your in the area you have to stop!
