So far definitely the best I've found in Libby and one of my new favorite small town Montana establishments, and boy do I visit a lot of those! I had a delicious New York Steak with Mashed Potatoes and a Ceasar Salad and I Wolfed down every delicious bite. The service is quick, efficient and high quality and they have a good selection of drinks and beers on tap available.
I would definitely eat here again, and I'm heading back tonight to try something else off of their amazing menu. One member of our group just got a salad and it was insanely good! They do food of all types and it's high quality!

it was nicely air-conditioned but service was slow. we were forgotten and apologized to though. gratefully accepted. the food was OK. fries were burned. place was recommended. seems like a bad day for them.

Didn't have any food, but the staff were so nice it made my hot and sour day quite a bit better with just the smiles and kindness I was shown when ordering a soda.

I have been to The Switchback 4-5 times now. I have ordered steak 3 of those times and they have yet to cook it correctly. They need to have a chart that shows what medium or medium rare is to be cooked. Each time it came back well done! With the increase of food these days, they need to get a new cook or have cooks that have experience. Sometimes when you tell the waitress it’s not right they get rude with you. Then on top of that they are adding 30% charge on your cc I know I won’t be going back Most waitresses there are polite but they need another cook who has experience!

The atmosphere was very nice. The service was extremely slow, the chili was great, but my fish tacos were ice cold. They did assist with taking the tacos off my bill and offered to get me something else. But I had a cup of chili that was phenomenal so I was good. Just need to make sure that the service is better, the place wasn't that busy, but it sure took a long time to get helped.

Had birthday dinner with our best friends and my birthday twin. first time here for us. our friends had been there several times. the only table left on a Friday night at 5 was near a back door which was very cold. we did later move to another table. all empty tables had been reserved so next tim we will reserve a table. prime rib was normal, steamed veggies were good . deep fried zucchini slices were a great appetizer. they were very busy so the service was slow. The guys had whiskey and us girls drank Malibu sunsets which were made perfectly

After a 4 day backpacking trip, this bar and grill absolutely hit the spot. Our tired group of old friends stopped in Libby, Montana hoping to get a beer and good food. Well that definitely happened. And the staff and atmosphere were perfect. Thank you for your wonderful service to 4 Wisconsinites

They weren't busy. Went for French Dips. Bread dry. Meat tough. French fries soggy & limp. It's usually better.
Food was so great! Server was very attentive and friendly to all of our needs, even while it was very busy. Awesome experience and will be back! Love the Montana deco. Cool place!

Have been staying in Libby quite a bit for work and this is my go to for dinner. They have great food and the prices are on point. The wait staff works hard to keep up, which can be hard since they seem to be to go to spot for get togethers.
