The rooms were clean but dated. Our friends had shag carpet in thwir room. Our shower had a crack in the back wall that was squishy and let in water. The connection between the surround and the floor was in need of repair and had black places. The bed was comfortable and the room was large. the front desk was friendly. The restaurant food was good and the service was very good and friendly. Highway noise was very loud .
Food and drinks: Restaurant only open for breakfast and lunch. A grill next door to walk to had good food.

Shag carpet, little TV, scalding hot water.
Cookies in the lobby were a nice touch.
Pool is due for a remodeling.
Chainsaw carvings need to be removed from the front door area to allow for more handicap parking. Saw a couple struggle because they couldn't park in one due to the same .
Rooms: Some rooms have large tvs and others have very small.
Rooms seems like they are stuck in a hunting magazine from the 60s
Noteworthy details: They still use keys instead of cards for the doors. No issues, but shows their age and lack of updates.

Nice place ,plenty of handicap access

Decent room, but the $200 price point should have come with better pillows and better blinds as a lot of light was able to come through. Would be better at $120-$150.
The restaurant was great, great food and service. Definitely made the stay a better experience.

Rooms: This place is a flashback to the 90s in a great way. Physical keys for the doors, ice cold air conditioning, unique art from local artists in the lobby. The staff was very friendly and gave me good recommendations for where to eat nearby. Big well lit parking lot and a great pool. Very clean rooms.

I reserved a room with a gentleman named Troy at the front desk over the phone. He was very helpful and professional and was able to answer all of my questions. The stay and food was pleasant and I would absolutely stay there on my next trip through the area. Thank you Troy for being a rockstar!

The lobby has been renovated in the last few years but the rooms were very dated, not reflecting the higher cost of reservations. The check in experience was seemingly of someone that didn't seem to be there. The quality of food in the restaurant was very good but the waitress ignored us at the entrance of the restaurant and when we were finally seated, we were served after several others groups had arrived. Maybe overwhelmed but should have been more attentive.

For years our card groups played in the fireside room and had lunch. Found out today that the new owners policy is that on top of our meals would have to pay an additional $100 to continue being their customers.
That's crazy. Many times our groups of 8 people were the only ones there for lunch. Four days a month of 32 less meals must not matter. Used to be a nice place to be but now won't go for other meals either.

I understand needing to make the most of tourist season, but way overpriced for an older run down hotel. Feel taken advantage of.
