Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

First time ever eating at a Popeyes. Mom and I each ordered a tenders meal. The mashed potatoes were good (I got tlit without gravy), the chicken was.....meh. it was double breaded and hard. In all honesty it was more breading than chicken. I would have prefered it the other way around. More than likely I will not be back. I just didn't care for it. The employee was super nice though. Mom has a brain injury so it takes her a min to look at menus and she asks a lot of questions normally. The employee was so super nice and did not seem annoyed at all.

The last two times we have shown up (Thursday and Friday) they are closed. Hours say they're open until 6pm on the wall. Both times we got there at 4pm and all the lights are off and there's no staff.

I ordered the shrimp and tenders combo, the worker there acted like it was such an inconvenience that they had to do their job and rolled their eyes. Maybe don’t work at a restaurant if you don’t like cooking food?

My family and I come here regularly. The wait times are horrendous. We always order the 12 pc combo and (everytime) we are only given one half full cup of gravy. We always have to ask for another but even then the cup is just half full. When I ask for more the server (the bitter middle aged female type) always gives me a dirty look. Heck the last time I went and asked for more gravy I was charged 3 dollars or so. How are you gonna expect 1 half full cup of gravy to be enough to four people eating a 12 pc??? Seriously this place is the most horrible Popeye's I've been to. Very disappointed.

What a shame that this of all places would happen on base where servicw members and families are supposed to feel welcome.

This was quite possibly the worst Popeyes chicken I have ever eaten. I placed my order at 1:45pm and received by 2:40 pm. Ridiculous. I thought this was a fast food restaurant. The chicken came out way overcooked and the red beans beans and rice were horrible. Wouldn't recommend

Ordered chicken strips/mashed potatoes/honey mustard meal at 5:40. Was told 3 min for fresh tenders. 6:20 I finally got tenders w/ fries and no dipping sauces. 40 min wait for the wrong order! Several other families with children waited excessive times for food before me. Everyone needs work experience and entry level is a great place to start but at a certain point 40 min fast food is a little inconvenient....please consider agricultural employment opportunities for your entry level members - Builds character, discipline and work ethic

I ordered take out an hr before they closed and they behaved like I'd done them the worst inconvenience of their lives. They wouldnt come to the counter at first and just kept looking back at me as if I needed to take the hint even though I had already ordered online. They finally asked if I had the mobile order. When they finally brought the chicken out, they didn't close the boxes and threw them in the bag. All of the chicken was loose in the bag and out of the boxes. 🫠

Tried to give me 2 meals without biscuits and wanted to charge full price. Supposed to open at 10:30 but it looked like they didn't even start prepping until 10:30 since the lights were still off and there was no food prepped. Very poor operation. Had to wait and extra 10 minutes for the biscuits.

Food is great, but expect a 15 minute wait if you want shrimp. Staff were friendly and worked quickly to fill orders.

Terrible experience. I placed a large order, giving them 1.5 hours ahead of time, bc that's all the time ahead I was able to order, and everything was STILL messed up.Ex: I ordered 4 large mashed potatoes. W/gravy... and 4 large beans and rice. Apparently, they were out of, and couldn't make more with an hour notice) beans and rice, so they sent 4 ex mashed p. W/gravy. 3 large Mac and cheese... none, so I got 2 extra, lg coleslaw and another mashed potatoes w/gravy.We ordered the shrimp platter or something w/small Mac (i did receive the sm mac +)and cheese, biscuit, and 8 LARGE SHRIMP... I received popcorn shrimp!!! .... yayaya... a handful of hard rocks.To add insult to injury, NONE of the condiments were received.Again... with 1.5 hours notice, to be picked up at 1630So... I spent $95.00 on mashed potatoes and gravy!!!I DO NOT recommend ever going here. Especially if you live off base. Check your bags thoroughly, open each container, etc.

Hi Leona Price I love my chicken. Remember the chicken sandwich? Everybody went crazy and I'm still is crazy about that chicken and all the other advertisers. You guys are awesome!

Always out of items. Customer service is hit or miss but most of the time not good. Food is ok. I have came here several times in hopes of improvement because Popeyes is my favorite chicken but have left unimpressed and disappointed every single time. It’s my fault for coming back, looks like it’s time to give up on this place!
