Went in because people I work with say this is the better place for a steak. First, went into the lounge. Completely ignored by the bar tender. Tables were dirty and had not been cleared. Looking down the hall I see employees just hanging out and chatting. Went into the dining room and the tables there were dirty as well. No signs or direction as to wait or seat myself. Another patron told me that I can just sit and they would clear the table. While waiting, the server came out and cleared another table and disappeared. No greeting or acknowledgement. After 5 minutes, I left. Food could be good, but I didn't want to be ignored or sit in filth.

The nearest Amtrak station to my friend's house in Montana was Malta. Before boarding the train, we made a stop at the GN Hotel and Lounge for a light lunch. I opted for the Asian Salad with grilled chicken. It was decent, nothing particularly exceptional, but I was grateful to have a place to grab a bite to eat.

Amazing food, great quality. Cooked fast and to order. Would recommend my whole entire family to eat here. Ally is a good and fast waiter, Jorge is a great cook.

Called in to order the Halibut sandwich, however they offered me the catfish sandwich since that was the substitute for halibut as they are on able to get it in right now! I thought I’d give it a try although I was a little nervous because I have never been a fan of catfish! But omg YUMMY! It was so delicious! I highly recommend ordering one. & I wish it was in the menu so I could order it in the future! If you haven’t ate lunch yet, run to the GN and order the Catfish sandwich! You will not regret it!

I cannot comment on the actual food since the following happened. While attending a post funeral dinner, i used some off color language(my bad) in our conversation and out of the blue the waitress hit me hard on the top of my head. This hurt and caught completely off guard. A while later I told her I did not appreciate being hit like that. Instead of appoligizing she called me a wimp. I cancelled my dinner and left.
