The biscuits are handmade fresh and hot, the service excellent and friendly, the regulars have a good time and new faces are brought right into the fold. The food hit the spot and the overall experience, just what I needed. I tip my hat to the whole crew.
It’s an old school diner without any frills but high on comfort food. Simple and tasty is what you will find. They have different burger specials and they are huge. Breakfast is what I got and I can recommend it. Fluffy eggs with crispy hash browns. The bacon is crispy but still had the fatty bits. The sausage link is porky and has a nice snap to it. Locals flock to it and it seems like a frequent watering hole.
When traveling, a place like this is a great find. We like to avoid chains and find local places. Service was great and there was a pitcher of water already on the table. No substitutions and they charge for a take out box, but that didn’t matter to us.
