This place came highly recommended by a few locals. We decided to try it out on our way through town. We all got the same thing. 12oz steak medium rare, twice baked potato, salad, bread, and ice cream. Everything was absolutely amazing! Would highly recommend to anyone wanting an awesome steak diner! Also if you have a chance sit at the bar and check out all the wild game animals on the walls. Supper cool!

I rarely give 5 stars to anything. As we drove across Montana we looked up steakhouse and this popped up nearby. Basically in the middle of nowhere. We sat down, were greeted warmly, and they proceeded to serve us wholesome, delicious food. Having eaten in top steakhouses across the country, I was shocked at how good this was. You absolutely cannot go wrong here.

Sorry to say but it has gone way downhill
Everything was exceptionally mid. The steaks were dry, the touted twice baked was over seasoned and dry, and asking for dessert to go seemed like an odd request - only for them to give us neither of the flavors we asked for. I was so excited to come here and it was not quite the level expected

Absolutely loved our experience here! It had been over 25 years since my wife and I had eaten here but decided to spend our 29th anniversary trying it out. The relish tray, cocktail shrimp, and bread were a great start. Then we had twice baked potatoes, prime rib, filet mignon, and lobster tail ala cart and they were all excellent. This is one of the best meals we’ve had in Montana in the last 30 years and we will definitely be back! Highly recommend.

Prices are a bit more than expected until I saw how small of an area i was in. Summers are short and winters are long. The entrée is served with multiple courses. Veggies, bread, salad, dinner, and ice cream.

We love to eat out at the land of magic. It’s not much of a drive from Manhattan. I’ve ordered the steak and prawns entree’ multiple times. I’ve had the walleye filet entree’. And we’ve had the breaded mushrooms appetizer, jalapeno cheddar bites appetizer, boneless wings appetizer, and the walleye fingers appetizer. My mother has enjoyed the steak and scampi entree’ and the LOM chicken entree’

An adorable place, but filet mignon came out burnt, dry, and flavorless. I really wanted to like this place with the amazing reviews. We did enjoy the twice baked potato. It was pepper filled deliciousness. They also give a salad, a scoop of ice cream, a veggie app, and bread with your meal.

The food is good but not as good as Texas Roadhouse. They add a gratuity on all tabs without telling you. The food is over priced. We were there the other day and 6 shrimp and twice bake, ice water, salad, tiny tray of veggies, sherbet was about $37.00. The shrimp came out and was finished before we got our potato.

Hands down, one of the best steaks I’ve ever had!
Land of Magic Steakhouse is everything a great Montana steakhouse should be — rustic, welcoming, and deeply rooted in the local beef community. My brother, a Montana local, brought us here while we were visiting, and I can confidently say: this is the place for steak lovers.
I ordered the petite filet mignon and it was cooked to absolute perfection — perfectly seasoned with a beautiful crust that made every bite unforgettable. The rest of our party had the porterhouse and ribeye, and each cut was equally incredible. You can tell the quality of the beef is second to none.
The service was just as impressive. Our server was sweet, helpful, fast, and made the entire evening feel effortless. The vibe of the whole place made it a joy to hang out in — classic Montana charm through and through.
If you’re visiting Montana, do not miss this spot. And if you’re local and haven’t been… what are you waiting for? Best steaks you’ll have. Period.
