Update for recent visit April 2024Service in the dining room was disappointing. Not busy when we arrived for early dinner, but service was rushed. Tried to catch attention of our server three times and eventually gave up. Probably servicing bar side as well though. Spent over $350 for 3 people, and the food was mostly worth it. Breaded prawns were incredible, but the steak with it had a strip of grissle through it. Alaskan King Crab was also way too salty. Happy to pay market price for access to great seafood, just expected it to taste better. Will keep going back, but likely going to bar side. Some times, the old ways are the best ways. They know how to do a steak. The escargot is interesting (canned from a large world-wide food provider) and stuffed in a mushroom. Always get the mussels with garlic butter. I like the filet mignon, but the ribeye is good as well. Open seating at the bar (may 8-10 seats) but would call ahead just in case. They tend to book the dining room first, then will book all the tables in the bar as well. They serve the same menu. Owners are great, and you are bound to make some friends.

The entire experience was amazing. All the staff was so friendly and energetic. The meal was absolutely delightful. We left with a smile on our faces and full bellies! I will definitely be visiting again.Kid-friendliness: The staff seen my 2 year old was restless at the table and not very interested in the veggies platter so they quickly brought over Ritz for him. This helped keep him occupied until our food arrived.Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs, single level from parking to building. The building inside is also wheelchair accomadating.

This unassuming log cabin tucked off a rural Montana side road serves some of the best beef and potatoes I've ever tasted. Our home is 100 miles away in Helena, MT. When Google Maps suggested The Land of Magic as the closest eating place after we'd driven to Three Forks on a task, my hungry husband and I decided to try them. After experiencing a friendly, casual atmosphere, perfectly seared steaks, refreshing beverages, and rich twice-baked potatoes, The Land of Magic has become a new destination restaurant for our special occasions.

This place is exactly what it promises. Off the charts steaks. Small town, slower, enjoyable expirenece. There no rush, this is not big city hurry up service, hurry up meal hurry up leave. It's quite glorious. I will be back EVERY SINGLE time I'm with in a 2 hour drive. I'm not sure I can think of a better steak I've ever had in my entire life. So kuch history here. Worth the drive.

This steakhouse nails it with the ribeye and filet mignon. The ribeye is rich and perfectly seared, while the filet is incredibly tender. Top-notch service and a classy vibe make it a standout dining choice.

Not sure where the hype comes from for this place. I had some garlic crusted ribeye and it reminded me of the days I used to treat myself to Applebees in college. The steak here is comparable to the many rustic steakhouses you find all over Montana, which in my opinion is generally underwhelming. Not bashing Montana, the single absolute best ribeye I've had anywhere in the world lives right here in Montana, but that's my little secret!

Newer to the area and have been searching for the “best steak” for my husband. I made reservations for the two of us for our anniversary, and we were not disappointed. I do believe they were busy enough that another wait staff was necessary. They were a bit slow in getting refills and clearing tables to allow the next group in, but they made due. The food was amazing and our waitress was kind. I ate way too much. I only wish I wouldn’t have forgotten my box of leftovers on the table! ?

Visiting of Texas… Miss Beth and Jay were very welcoming, the entire staff was amazing. And the steak… WOW!!! Absolutely fantastic! If you are in Montana you have to put this place on a must do list. 10 out of 10. Normally I would fight anyone who says this, but this place was better than anywhere in Texas… sorry folks it’s true.
