An excellent Motel and bar/restaurant to use if you're passing through this area - a perfect stop over for bikers on route to Glacier national park. Great staff, good food, beer and decent prices.

The bar was cute n sweet the gravy and chix fried steak was wonderful. However we booked here on a 99 degree day and there is NO AC in our room. and upon checking in we put the two fans on max blast and until 1am it was unbelievable hot inside the motel room im talking hotter than a hot-faced hot-filled hot-headed hot as snot hot to trot hottie toddie mchot hot. nearly boiled me alive we had the window open too

I love visiting this place anytime I come to Marion. Our lake house is right down the road from the hitching Post and we love eating here.Update from 6/12/24.The special for the day was “Grilled cheese sandwich with jalapeño poppers and bacon”.It’s off the chart good! Keep serving this please!!Our waitress was Kalea and she was not only amazing but helpful as well.Thank you all at Hilltop!

Not a bad spot. Service was very slow. Poor girl just doesn't seem to have been trained well. People that sat down after me were served first. Took a while to get my drink order. Even longer to get my food order. Food was good. Vibe was a little weird. Drunk patrons at the bar seemed to have a staring problem. Service just needs to step up and it wouldn't be a bad spot.

Hi! Never go here to celebrate a 21st!Not only did they even refuse to look at her temporary ID. Which every other bar and restaurant we went to accepted no problem btw. The lady at the bar was very rude told us all we couldn't be served and ran away to the kitchen. I've been here a few times and it never fails to suck. I've had songs I paid for on the jukebox get skipped because they said the F word to much. Seriously, it's a bar with a bunch of cursing drunkard old people since that's the demographic they appeal too, and I couldn't play a song that said the F word wow. Multiple times I have gotten food cold or raw to my table. This was the last straw for me and my family and friends. When I called owner, refused to admit her or the bartender was rude and were in the wrong and she doesn't want to risk her liquor license lol. Why run a bar if you can't come celebrate your 21st. especially being one of the only places to drink in Marion. Just a horrible business decision and very unprofessional. DONT COME HERE unless you like disappointment.
