Hole In the Wall Family Dining

The food was great but the atmosphere was a little strange, with the whole restaurant staring at you when you walk in with half of your out-of-town family (I guess it's not every day you see a bunch of natives walking in to have breakfast in little old Miles City). The service was great and the employees were all friendly (or so i thought) and did their jobs well. Because our group was rather large and we kept the waitress a little busy we tipped her accordingly. Overall, the place has always been one of my favorite places since I moved here in 2018. I loved the breakfast there and it has always been one of my personal favorites, especially the omelets, hashbrowns, toast, and a side of sausage or bacon. I doubt I'll ever step foot in this place again.
Edit: Apparently some of the employees think they know me. (NOT ONE of them KNOW me, or anything about me except maybe where I'm from and how I ended up in Miles City, which is a good thing on my part). Whomever started these rumors has no knowledge of me, who i am, what I've done, or really anything about me, except what I've always told people which is, how I ended up here. Trying to better my life. Which I've done and helped others to do the same. They need to stick to their job waiting tables, mind their business, and leave those of us who have moved on to bigger, more productive, and better things, to live our lives. We came here and have met so many great people but keep forgetting this is a small town where the sewing circle will always have something negative to say about someone else, true or not. WE DO RECOVER! I won't lie, the breakfast that I mentioned are great, it's just the normal small town rumors that ruined my idea of what this place is and what I thought it was.

Excellent place to eat! Service was awesome, food delicious, prices were no different than any other place. Now... the decorating inside the Cafe! How cool/neat/sweet is the look inside this place!
Think of the old western bar scene.
Cowboys belly up to the bar slinging back shots of whiskey, painted ladies chatting with the clientele and high stake poker games being held on a table or two.
When on vacation these are the places to be explored!

I come through Miles City frequently, and I always arrange my schedule to include a meal at Hole In The Wall restaurant. Service is always great, it reminds me of the small restaurants that my grandpa used to take me to.

Classic cowboy bar and restaurant. Attached quintessential diner attached. Eat with real cowboys.

Kid-friendliness: Great for kids. Lots of stuff on the walls to look at.

Poor service, Food was not as advertised. When we requested a menu to order new. Food waitress never came back had to ask another one. Never help with the replacement for food or refund.

Outstanding restaurant in Miles City. Food is excellent. Staff is friendly costs are affordable. The attached saloon next door is full of period art. Worth a visit, especially if you enjoy good food.
