The menu foods sound better than they actually taste. Coffee was not good at all. Only been there twice so may have picked the wrong times. Would give 5 stars for the Service as it was great.

Josie served us. We have had the best experience for fresh calamari in Montana. Twice we have eaten here. EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE BOTH TIMES!
This time, I had the Halibut sandwich with no bun. On a bed of fresh lettuce. The fish was cooked perfectly!! Crispy and light hand-breaded on the outside, the fish was perfect. As I stated, calamari..over the top. Perfect breading cooked for 45 seconds. Not rubbery like so many places.
M had the seafood salad. Again, a great portion. Seafood was fresh!
Cpt Kirk and Michelle give you 5 stars and will gladly return again.

Seated in restaurant area, 1 young male server handling 5 tables. Asked for butter and BBQ sauce, got after 2nd time asking. Platter should have had chicken wings, he said he decided to order chicken breast instead. When i asked about the change, he was unwilling to bring what i actually had ordered. Food was good, but service was slow. Worst experience I ever had here. Been coming here since 1994. Bar area only for us from now on. We learned our lesson. Pretty slow on Tuesday night, should have been easy to take care of patrons, and their needs.

The food was nasty had chicken fried steak it was mush so much I could not tell where the breading ended and the meat began if it was even meat honestly girlfriend had pasta it was way over cooked and tasted so bland brought it home my animals would not even eat it

The atmosphere is fine, but our meat was all overcooked.

We visited recently and while the food was decent, the service felt overly rushed. Our waitress came by repeatedly every minute or two, checking if we were done—even before we had a chance to finish eating. She handed us the check before we could even take our last bite, which made the whole experience feel hurried and uncomfortable. A bit more patience would’ve made for a much better visit.

Nice place. It is expensive for the quality of food you get. I asked for a burger cooked to medium, and it came out well. Fries were rubbery. Good water.

We always have a great dinner as always. We love Montana City Grill! The huckleberry barbecue is just the best!

We got great service, and I liked the menu options. Our steaks were cooked properly and the battered shrimp was really good. I'll definitely be stopping by again when I'm in the area.

We've been coming here monthly for the better part of a decade, spending a good chunk of $$$ everytime. The younger gentlemen is top notch, incredibly professional, welcoming and attentive... and the food is usually worth putting up with the occasional rude/poor servers. However, this last time soured us for returning anytime soon... our waitress was insufferable and the inflated prices don't match the food/service quality anymore.

The hostess for the restaurant was so unwelcoming / rude that we almost left.
The server in the bar and the bar staff made it a great night! The food was amazing as always! That was our first time sitting in the bar area, and it was okay. We prefer the restaurant side.

Went here in January for a birthday dinner, it went perfectly. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was wonderful. Our server was really quiet, but did a great job.

Our table put orders in for the prime rib. At the time of ordering our waitress said that there was plenty. 30 minutes after we ordered she came back to our table and said, sorry we are out of prime rib. Same thing happened with the soup we ordered.
