This is a restaurant/donut shop where you can sit down and have breakfast as well, such as bacon and eggs, and the usual, however, it is very crowded and hard to move when you are in on the weekends or busy mornings. I think the backlog is right around the front door, where they have customers put their own Sweetener and milk in. They do have decaf coffee, which they’ll make for you at the counter, but you just go on in and pour your own regular coffee. They do have espresso drinks like mochas and lattes and that type of thing parking is on the street and limited to about 8 to 10 cars on the block.Parking: There are about five on Street parking spaces on each side of the road. It is unclear as to where anyone else should park.Kid-friendliness: Lots of great items here that the kids are gonna love as well as a regular menu.
Lake City Bakery and Eatery in Polson, MT, is a must-stop spot for travelers journeying between Kalispell and Missoula. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and invited to choose our own seats. As a connoisseur of breakfast classics, I always begin with biscuits and gravy to gauge the quality of an establishment. Here, the scratch-made gravy immediately impressed with its perfect balance of saltiness. It lacked black pepper, but a few dashes from the shaker on the table was quick to remedy it. Paired with housemade flaky biscuits, it set the tone for an exceptional meal. The chicken fried steak was another standout, boasting a perfectly crispy exterior and a well-seasoned interior. Accompanied by the delectable gravy and crunchy, buttery hash browns, each bite was a delight. For coffee lovers, the hazelnut option provided a flavorful twist to the classic cup of joe. And the huckleberry pancakes, generously studded with juicy berries and served with ample butter and syrup, were a decadent treat. With tempting offerings like donuts, pies, and espresso coffee, Lake City Bakery and Eatery promises many future visits from our crew. It's sure to become a regular stop on our travels.

Just stopped by a few hours ago for lunch. I ordered the chicken-fried steak sandwich with tater tots, and my mom ordered the same sandwich with onion rings. We were very happy with the food, and the service was exceptional. On our way out we also purchased some loaves of fresh bread, which we can’t wait to use. We’ll be back again soon to try some other meals and bakery items!
I went to this bakery, got a couple of donuts. They were pretty good. I later called to try and place an order to have some custom boston cream donuts as they seem to be unable to be found in this area, and they absolutely refused to do the order, even tho they make donuts. They offered to make me a huge donut, but not a boston cream one. Pretty disappointing.

This bakery is frankly a staple of Polson itself, and holds a special place in my heart due to familial bond. My grandmother worked here for a majority of her life, and was even the woman who made the recipe for the Indian Tacos that they serve on Wednesday's.Each time I've come in, I feel at home, and we're (my fiancé and I), waited on with diligence and respect. The inside is a seat yourself accommodation, and so as long as you find a place to sit, (as it's usually full), you'll be seen in ample time and your order will be taken swiftly. The wait time on food is never too long, and their sweet treats are perfect to finish off any meal. While I wish they could stay open longer, I also appreciate the time frame they're open, as it makes for a perfect place to stop by and grab breakfast or lunch with those you care about. Not to mention, I always feel immensely respected whenever I go there, which coming from someone like me, it's difficult to find sometimes. ??

Just a good old fashioned local diner, nothing flashy or hip, just good food, efficient service (a rarity anymore) and very good prices for what you get. I appreciate what they do.
