We were first time guests here. As New England natives….Polson is just crazy beautiful! our breath was taken away by the beautiful view at this restaurant. It was just captivating to watch the sunset from this dining room. We even Side Sat which we never do! The mountains were just heavenly!
Our server Julie from Missoula was lovely! She was warm, relaxed and clearly enjoying her best life living in this region. My husband lived his prime rib. I as a vegetarian easily pivoted with fettuccine Alfredo and salad. The food was fabulous but not too fancy… I wish I could experience this venue during their tourist season.
Thank you for sharing your lakeview and majestic mountains with guests from all over. Hands-down, the most beautiful place I’ve dined at in my life!😇

Got to sit on the deck for probably the last nice weekend of the year! The Salmon Beurre Blanc was amazing and my husband liked his burger. If you get the garlic fries, be prepared for a lot of fresh garlic! Yum!

Our party of four were seated next to a large party with uncontrollable children running around their table like musical chairs. Staff never helped us out, never offered to move us. Said “we’re a family friendly restaurant.” Our bill was $265 before tip for a Chuck E Cheese experience. Drinks took a half hour, food an hour. For the price you would expect a little sophistication, however more like a road side diner atmosphere. If they knew how to run a restaurant the location and views would be better served.

We absolutely love The Shoe. We have been back twice on our vacation. We even hosted our rehearsal dinner here. The staff is amazing; so accommodating and kind. The food was out of this world and the views are even more beautiful. Julie helped us every time, she was so wonderful and Jennifer was with us every step of the way planning a rehearsal dinner from out of state!! You must try the prime rib!!!

Julie was an amazing server. She was attentive, and as a former service industry professional, I greatly appreciate the excellent service. Additionally, I have been on a quest to find the best inland calamari and this was it! The sirloin was tender and the peppercorn sauce was delicious. The Shoe is an awesome experience all around!

This place is right on Flathead Lake. The view is amazing and the decor is truly Montana. Awesome food options that include Bison burgers and steaks. We had pork belly tips in a wonderful sauce- SUPER YUMMY!! the drinks are good too, and the service was perfect. We much enjoyed talking with folks at the bar 🍸.

We had a nice dinner on the deck. It has a beautiful view of the lake and the Mission mountains. The food and drinks were very good.

Great view. Food is ok, price does not match quality. Menu is on small side. Servers were great. Took a long time to get drinks from the bar. My dinner came without the balsamic glaze, which someone caught and fixed.
