It is an absolutely beautiful atmosphere and that's why I go! It could be fabulous. The reason a lot of the locals don't go is because of the service. It's hit or miss. Overall, I suggest the managers spend much more time training their waitstaff!!! I have waited forever for service also, even when it's not busy. The waitstaff are nice but do not seemed trained to do their job well.

Bison burgers were charred, not medium. Children's meal was so hot had to cut it all up and wait 5 minutes for it to cool for toddler to eat. The potato skins were delicious!

The owner was a total creep. Our server was very nice and our food was okay but the owner very loudly harassed my friend on our way out of the restaurant. I would not recommend supporting his business, it was not worth it.

04/10/23- Horrible service, super long wait time to get food and high prices.05/01/23- The Shoe’s second chance didn’t fair well! Super long wait time because the cook burnt one of our steaks, they messed up the other steak with the wrong sides. Last time at The Shoe! I love the owners reply to my review. The word is spreading in Polson to not eat here!!
