Excellent authentic Mexican food, great owner and servers

We ordered the carne asada and carnitas tacos and besides having little meat it tasted bad and gamey! $81 for lunch for 3 people… the Mexican fries were frozen fries with too much watery nacho cheese and with the same bad meat! Sad as we have had the taco truck food and it was so much better!

My family has driven SEVERAL times to this taco shop. Today my daughter received terrible terrible service. Very disrespectful owners who will not right THEIR wrongs. Owners were sitting at a bar, while their very young, untrained waitress made many mistakes. Waitress was not competent AT ALL. First, she did not know what birria Papusa was (it is on the menu).. They had to clarify and physically point out what this was.. This was NOT a language barrier issue either! Then, my daughter ordered and the lady clarified her order.. the waitress did not write their order down and apparently felt as though she could memorize it… this led to my sister getting the wrong food item. When she brought it to the waiter’s attention the waiter admitted she was wrong and brought out the right food. They asked the waiter to split the check.. she described she did not know how to split a check. When they received their check both items (wrong item and right item) were on the bill. This was brought to their attention and they would not fix it and admit their waitress’s incompetence. We were charged for a burrito we did NOT order and did NOT receive. They insisted that my daughter was made aware twice there was meat on the bean, cheese and rice burrito she ordered. She does not eat meat! However her friend said that she confirmed twice that “her” order had chicken. I called the owner and he immediately talked over me (yelled) for several minutes until I bluntly said “there’s no way my daughter confirmed meat when she doesn’t not eat meat! He then screamed “how are we suppose to know she’s vegan”…..completely missing the point that there was no way she confirmed meat. He was hostile from the start…..yelled over me the whole call…..and apparently felt that it was ok to charge her for two burritos when they removed the “incorrect” burrito to the kitchen (didn’t even box it up to send home if she was charged for it!) My 17 year old daughter who happens to work a part time job for her own spending money was charged $32 for a bean, cheese and rice burrito! We will never support this business again!
