Red lodge scramble, hash browns and biscuit are fantastic. Especially the hash browns. My buddy got the pastrami and chili verde which he said we also delicious. Reasonably priced, would come here again ?

Awesome breakfast. The kind of cafe that provides so much more than its patrons deserve nor could expect in a tiny mountain town! Home grown flower garnishment is just the smallest example what Cafe Regis does to overcome serious headwinds in a tough geographical location as far as employment, product, and thus, upholding that golden rule of consistent quality the food industry must do!

The green chile omelet was amazing. Did you know hash browns are the hardest thing to cook for breakfast meals?!? These were amazing. And even the fruit was pretty darn fresh (again, the Mountain West is in the middle of nowhere people so put your coastal expectations away and don’t be jerks.).

And if this place isn’t an instant favorite and you tip well, and are polite and respectful, well, ya better go back to Connecticut or even Colorado!

As a family of 7, we went to order a to-go order and were told our order couldn't be accomodated. We were informed we could come sit (at one of the tables that seats 10) but couldn't order to-go, or could come back later. Would not recommend to a family with kids, and we will not be going back.

Passing through town, and found this place with a little searching of well-rated locations. We were not at all disappointed, once we realized the "REGIS GROCER" was, in fact, the cafe.

FOOD: We came in about 20 minutes between afternoon close, though there were still other groups dining and chatting. Didn't affect the servings at all -- a great half-sandwich, eggs and hash browns, a smothered burrito, and a breakfast burrito. I had the latter -- ordered with chili Verde which was put inside -- and it was quite tasty, if a bit more black bean forward than I was expecting. Iced tea was quite good, too.

Overall, ingredients were fresh and healthy.

SERVICE: Despite the time, the service was friendly, helpful, and even above and beyond (as we showed an interest in some of the history of the building on display, one worker brought out a basket of old bills and documents and so forth -- fun!).

AMBIANCE: Cute, nostalgic, cozy, without being cloying. Clean and pleasantly appointed.

NET-NET: A big win, better than stopping someplace for fast food or a burger. Definitely marked as a place to visit again.

We ate breakfast at Cafe Regis on our way to the Northeast entrance of Yellowstone. We enjoyed it so much that we went back the next morning before our flight out of Billings. We have friends in Red Lodge and plan to go back when visiting!

This seems more like a local stop. Off the main road, and rather cute. We both enjoyed a tofu burrito. Not a super exciting burrito, but I didn’t make it:) lovely outdoor eating area and you can bring your dog

Don’t judge a book by its cover. Exterior looks a little rough it inside is very quaint. They also have patio seating. Food was great and it seemed to be mostly locals - always a good sign.

The breakfast #1 was so good I wish I could buy the sour cream mushroom sauce in bulk and take it home with me. We had a party of 6 and every single one of us left extremely full but extremely satisfied. Highly recommend for breakfast/brunch.
