Wow is all I can say! We met the bartender Megan at another restaurant earlier in the day who told us to come check it out. Not only was the food delicious, the service was amazing! Megan told Kristen(our amazing server) about our anniversary (she remembered from the morning) and they blessed us with a card and a complimentary dessert. The steak was top notch and everyone was so kind! I loved the atmosphere and highly recommend them to any one wanting to enjoy a fantastic dinner in red lodge!

A wonderful restaurant with top quality steak. Having visited Montana now and being such big foodies we can honestly say the quality of beef is unbeatable . The potatoes were absolutely delicious , we tried both the mash and the baked options.

Well, a few weeks ago we got to visit this lovely restaurant...The ambiance is beautiful, it's a little but very inviting and warm- it's perfect for a romantic date night. The upstairs wine cellar is beautiful as well. We were served by a very nice waiter, and all of the staff were very pleasant. Everyone seemed very welcome here, from men just knocking off work from their construction jobs, to well dressed business people. We were so excited to give this place a try- my husband had seen the tomahawk steak on the menu online before our trip and was super excited. Unfortunately, that was where things fell flat. The steak came out and it looked as if it was cooked on a grill that wasn't quite hot enough yet, or as if the piece of steak had been pulled from the refrigerator and stuck on the grill without coming to room temperature (in our industry, you can do this with care- think dry aged steaks). Well, when we started eating, it was very much under seasoned and very tough - a good steak needs only salt and pepper - you can guild the lily with special sauces and such, but that should be only if you want to. The broccolini that came with it also had no seasoning, and had the flavor of the smell of burnt hair (I'm was kinda sad because I love broccoli and had the bearnaise sauce that I was looking forward to using with it). My side that I had picked were the fries. They also had no seasoning, and reminded me very much of McDonalds French fries...I hate giving reviews like this, especially for the cost- we were so looking forward to this dinner. I hope on our next trip through, that we have a better food experience (maybe it was just an off night for the restaurant?), and that everyone else does as well.

Our waitress Meaghan was wonderful and the place has cool vibe to it. However, the food for the price was mediocre. Did not look like a 6oz filet. At $45 dollars, you shouldn't have to pay for béarnaise and mushrooms. Caesar salad and pasta dish had too much dressing and sauce.

Stopped in to eat, was told by the waitress to pick a table, waited 30 minutes before my wife asked for service, was refused, were told the waitress was wrong, that they would not serve without a proper reservation. 1300 miles to be told yes, then no. Very disappointed.

Ribeye was fantastic; service was great with Megan; and the steak came out within 10 minutes. Honestly couldn't ask for more.

Came back twice because it was so good and the service was so good.

We had such a great experience here! Our server was Megan and she is amazing! She checked up on us frequently and with an infectious smile! We got the cowboy coffee ribeye which was tender and very well cooked. We also got the lobster Mac and cheese which had great flavor and was perfectly cheesy. To finish off the meal we got the cow pie which was so yummy! Great meal will be back here, thank you Megan!!

Excellent food, excellent service. We got the tomahawk steak for two (it could have fed 4 lol) it was perfectly cooked and extremely flavorful. Our waiter was excellent, very knowledgeable and helpful. Our table was outdoors under a canopy and was a very nice setting. Although people did go by and stare at the huge steak. Not a problem, They were friendly.

Over-priced, over-rated tourist restaurant.

The service was lacking, and the food average for a supposed 'upscale' restaurant.

The person who cleared dishes from the table, dark hair asked if we were finished with the appetizer, when the plate was scraped clean, yes the brussel sprouts were good. When I said we were obviously finished with it, she said, "maybe you wanted to lick it (the plate) in a what seemed a flippant manner with a smirk on her face.

Then after the table of 5 was finished and their plates taken she again asked me after the empty plate sat in front or me for at least 10 minutes after I was finished last, again with a clean plate save a piece of fat, after the large ribeye steak, and all the others at our table had their empty plates taken, earlier, the same person said " are you finished with that?"

Add to that the waitress was a bit condescending in tone, as if speaking to a child, to my elderly mother who is of sound mind and judgement.

All this on top of the fact that half of the "bros" eating inside the 'upscale' dining room were wearing baseball hats, at least none at a cursory look, not turned around backwards.

July 27. Food was great, but Montana weather brought in a little chill tonight on the patio. Didn't dampen the evening, but mother nature let us know "your in Montana."
