I ordered the special — grilled romaine with feta, cashews, and 85-day dry-aged elk, topped with marinated blueberries, pickled fennel, and an orange-scallion vinaigrette. I know it sounds like a lot was going on… and it was, but every flavor was perfectly balanced. Seriously, so good. I told our waiter how amazing it was, and the chef even came out to chat afterward — such a thoughtful touch and a real highlight of the evening. For dessert, we had the butter cream cake with homemade caramel icing — rich, nostalgic, and the perfect sweet finish. We’re locals and I’m a huge foodie, and I have to say: this meal completely impressed me. Creative, intentional, and bursting with flavor — Black Canyon Bistro is a gem.“

“I don't remember our waiters name that me and my 2 girlfriends had tonight, taller guy with blonde hair he was training a new, but very savvy looking bartender, but he was SUPER friendly, got our drinks and food right out to us, made small talk about where we were from when he was getting our meals paid for, the whole atmosphere is awesome. I came in there the first time last Friday and again today, and it's definitely my new favorite spot when I come to red lodge, the best pizza I've had (get the PO box one) and ice cold drinks. 10/10 👏👏“
