My wife and I went through Red Lodge on our 25th Anniversary vacation trip. We often like to check out local restaurants for a memorable experience. We stopped and the Soda Hole and had such an enjoyable experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The Cheese Curd burger was excellent as well as the Huckleberry shake. But their sweet potato fries were THE BEST fries we have every had! Not super cheap, but worth every dollar we paid. Highly Recommend!

This was my first smash burger. I thought the $11 price for their smashed cheeseburger and cris-cut french fries is a nominal price to pay. My smashed barbecue cheeseburger with crispy bacon and two crispy onion rings was $14. Great service, great atmosphere and phenomenal food cooked to your liking.

The fries were perfectly cooked and seasoned and the sauces - oh, the sauces - were delicious. And the star of the show for me was the beverage. I got the Mrs. Soda Hole and it was incredible. I wish I could go back to try them all. I’d definitely recommend a stop if you’re in Red Lodge or passing through!

My wife and I decided to stop by at the Rock Creek Soda hole today on one of our excursions to Red Lodge. I remember back in the 60s and 70s going to burger joints that left a lasting impression. The last 30 years I haven't really found a burger joint that I just had to return to. That is until today. I ordered the OG Smashed Burger at the Rock Creek Soda Hole, and let me tell you, from the first bite to the last, it was totally delicious just like the old days. And just like the old days, I was welcomed with a smile. Now I will be returning to Red Lodge to fun things such as fishing and hiking, but the primary reason will be so I can stop and have another burger at my new favorite burger joint, The Rock Creek Soda Hole.

This place is an absolute gem! Western Bacon Cheese Smash Burger is Fantastic, I'm pretty critical of burgers this one has a new place among my favorites very near the top. The sodas are so unique and creative, the Glacier Water and the Float My Boat are fantastic. ALSO reasonably priced.
