Sam's Tap Room & Kitchen

We recently picked up dinner from the tap room. We have not eaten there in years but have been seeing a lot of advertisements about the new food, so thought we would try it! Very disappointing! Our order was wrong, the burger buns were so soggy they completely fell apart, the cashier gave us the incorrect change twice and still we had to count it out for them to get the correct amount back. Only good part of the meal was the fries. Definitely not worth the money for two burgers that weren’t even correct.

Good beer. Super friendly staff. Comfortable tap room on a chilly day. There was a bit of a mix-up in the kitchen, but once we realized what had happened the staff went above and beyond. They were super gracious and made sure everything was corrected.

Comforting, great staff, the customers seem to be all local.

Food was great. Portion size was perfect. The Fry basket for an appetizer was huge. Three of us shared it.

The only downside, if you can call it that, the alcoholic drinks are limited to beer, cider or wine or a combination of all of these. There are no spirits.

This is the third time going to Sams in the past couple months. We got the same server all three times. Each time it took about an hour to get drinks and food, we were very patient and understanding each time. But the waitress (the one with dark hair and blue/green pieces) was very unkind each time, finding our requests for another drink or more pita bread annoying to her. The last time we ended up leaving without ordering after we sat for 30 minutes before being harshly greeted by the same server who promptly yelled over me when I ordered a drink before showing my ID, then acted frustrated when we ordered a drink that was no longer being served. We love the beer and the atmosphere, but will not be coming back :(

The food was excellent. I had the Sam's burger and you could tell that it was a handmade patty. The fries were delicious and our server Claire was very nice. Will definitely be coming here again when we pass through.

Been a lunch stop for me for a while now on all my work trips. Love the BBQ. Cubano and Pulled Pork are amazing.

We arrived for dinner just after the power went out for most of the town. The beer was still flowing and they set up a line for brisket sandwiches. One problem for us was cash only! We scraped together enough for one beer and one sandwich. The beer tender was kind enough to buy us a second beer! The brisket and beer were both wonderful!

Great place to eat outside after some spring skiing. Delicious chili and beautiful patio!

Very pleasant beer garden experience for a summer lunch. The food menu is limited but everything ordered was tasty and presented well and most of all covered the beer selections. Had the pulled pork sandwich and hummus platter with scotch ale for the IPA-adverse. Service was energetic and funny and the whole package worked well. Kid's selections on menu but no pets. A short drive north from downtown makes a nice break from shopping.

I used to really like this place but just recently the food quality went down and they stopped serving Wander Ivy wine, now all they serve as far as wine is cheap nasty black box wine.

Ordered chicken strips w/ fries and pretzel w/ cheese.Chicken and fries were good. Seasoned fries were perfect. My kid ate everything (rare).The pretzel was overcooked, leaving the outside crunchy and the inside was dry. The cheese though was good.Wait time for food was a little long considering everything we ordered was deep fried or a quick toast.
