I am from Livingston and my friend,who lives in Billings, each drove 1 hour to meet for a visit and lunch at the Waterhole Saloon in Reed Point. What a neat place for great food and a friendly atmosphere! And it was a beautiful day for a drive!

A hidden gem and phenomenal people worth their weight in gold. Stopped by because of vehicle issues before reaching Billings and ended up being the perfect place to regroup, have a drink, and meet some great people.

DO NOT TRY EATING HERE if you are staying at Old West RV Park. It’s not what you expect.
We are staying at the RV park and wanted to eat lunch here. They had a kitchen mishap earlier in the day but we were very nice and told them we would order easy to make burgers. We put in our order and waited almost 1.75 hours. Yes you read right!! This is not an exaggeration at all. We saw food be put up for delivery that looked like our but they took it to another table. We asked and they gave our food to someone else. So after waiting 2 hours we just said screw this place. I understand that you are a small town saloon but this was absolutely ridiculous. Only eat here if you have 4+ hours to wait. Biggest waste of time. Just eat at your RV.
Seriously don’t bother going to this place. It’s not really a restaurant. They occasionally make some food… it appears.

This place is a total gem. After a long drive from Glacier, we walked in thinking we'd get some water and a couple of cokes to stay awake as we continued our long drive. Lisa made us feel instantly at home and we stayed, heard some great stories and refueled for the road ahead. This is going to be part of our family lore for years to come.

Pulled off the road to deal with a fussy 3 year old and was greated with good food, good atmosphere the friendliest staff you will encounter. Lisa our waitress was kind and entertained our kids with activities and games and great service. Betty cooked up a great lunch for us and even catered to our picky 6 year old who request an off menu item of grilled cheese. Make sure to make this a stop on your next road trip. You won’t be disappointed!!!
