We were staying at the campground near the saloon and decided to walk down for dinner. Bartender/Waitress was absolutely fantastic. Food was delicious. They had live music. Highly recommend!

Staying at the campground in town, so wandered over here for supper. Waitress was really nice, brought us our craft beers. After a long wait, she came back out to tell us our pizza did not come out to their standards, so they were remaking it. We weren't in a hurry, so no problem. When the pizza arrived, it was very good, and way more than the two of us could eat.
The only downside to the experience was a dog tied up in the back hallway near the kitchen that barked and whined through our entire meal.
Other than that, the place has a nice old timey, old West vibe. The smooth jazz music coming out of the speakers was unexpected, but it was good to listen to (over the barking dog).

If I could give minus stars I would. We had pizza and the first one served was burnt black. We understand things happen and asked for another one. The second one was served almost as burnt. When we told the server she was very very rude stating that is how pizza is supposed to be and added where are you from. She then said she would take it off our bill and told us to Just get out. I have never had such poor service and been treated so badly. It made it even worse to find out she was the owners daughter! I would NEVER recommend this place!

What more can you ask for right off 90? Great food, live music, fun environment, good conversation, and delicious drinks! The locals here are very friendly and definitely knowledgeable about surrounding areas, so if you're looking for food or local places to check out on your travels, this is the spot to stop!

While RVing to Alaska, we stayed at Old West RV Park in Reed Point, MT, where we heard that Waterhole Saloon offers 10% off food and drinks for campers. We walked over and were glad we did! The old-west saloon vibe is fun, with lots of character and license plates covering the walls. Great selection of local draft beers, and the huckleberry mule was delicious. We ordered the Waterhole Supreme pizza and medium Hang on Ethel wings—both were worth the visit. The pizza was loaded with toppings, and the wings had just the right kick. Friendly service and a great local stop!

We read reviews of the great food, so passing through on the interstate we decided to give it a try. Glad we did! Easy access off the interstate. The atmosphere outside and inside was pure Montana! Food was great, service was so fast and friendly, Lisa was extremely friendly and shared the history of this unique restaurant/saloon. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will make an effort to stop again when we pass through the area. If you are looking for the true Montana experience, this is the place!

I am from Livingston and my friend,who lives in Billings, each drove 1 hour to meet for a visit and lunch at the Waterhole Saloon in Reed Point. What a neat place for great food and a friendly atmosphere! And it was a beautiful day for a drive!
