This is a wonderful find while staying at nearby Rexford Bench campground. The food and service were great and they had at least a dozen beers on tap. The fried catfish was tremendous.

My first time here, it was fantastic! Tara (server)& Donna (cook) were great! The fried chicken š was soo good! What a cool place!! Cheese curds, jalapeno fries & half pound cheeseburger with pepper jack was out of this world!! Thanks again! The Frontier Bar was a pleasant unexpected surprise. Late, hungry, and tired my buddy and I took a chance. The food was great well prepared, establishment was clean and enjoyably decorated, and the service was nice and Montana style friendly. Steaks and chicken are the way to go here. WOW we will be back in September! Thanks for having us and taking such good care.

Waitress voiced her displeasure at my son and I adding bacon to our burgers. Said she didnāt like us anymore because she had to rewrite the order? Told my grandson she liked him because he didnāt cause trouble and ordered a chicken sandwich?
This was one of my favorite places to eat.

This used to be our place to go, however, it is no moreā¦ Tonightās experience was the final straw in the sad downhill slide of this establishment. We walked in to the only 6 open/dirty tables full of trash from the previous patrons and a completely disinterested staff. After several minutes, it was apparent there was no concern about remedying the situation or attending to new customers. This was just after 9pm.

Frontier has the best huckleberry paralyzers in Montana, and the fact they come in pitchers makes it even better! Whether weāre just getting into town, coming off the water, or catching a game or live music, itās always our first stop. The shuttle to Abayance Bay has been a great new addition this year! Highly recommended.

We are ālocalā but only go to The Frontier once a year. The drinks are good and prices are comparatively low. However I wouldnāt order food again. I say that every time and it may just be me because I have a sensitive pallet and the meat I had was gamey. I took a bite and then hubby took a bite and didnāt eat anymore of it. I let the waitress know (she didnāt offer anything else or apologize) the one time she came around after that and I believe she took it off the bill but didnāt see her until I went to the bar and had another waitress go find her. It was five on a Saturday and there looked like there was 3-4 waitresses but we were drinking, gambling and eating and maybe she was new but it was the first time in a decade I didnāt leave a tip. I was up all night feeling sick so we wonāt order food again there. The atmosphere is good and they have tons of seating and itās clean so a good drinking spot.
