We are “local” but only go to The Frontier once a year. The drinks are good and prices are comparatively low. However I wouldn’t order food again. I say that every time and it may just be me because I have a sensitive pallet and the meat I had was gamey. I took a bite and then hubby took a bite and didn’t eat anymore of it. I let the waitress know (she didn’t offer anything else or apologize) the one time she came around after that and I believe she took it off the bill...

My partner and I are hiking the PNT and this place was one of favorite stops along the 1,200 journey. The food is super tasty and extremely affordable. Big portion sizes as well!The staff working there were truly the highlight for us. Misty and her sister are clearly the heart beat of the town and it shows. True angels on earth. If you’re a hiker or just someone looking for a tasty meal, do yourself a favor and stop here. 10/10, would recommend!

Great food, great service, Misty was super friendly and helpful. And big thanks to Leonard and Mark for the ride from Abyance bay to our camp site after the Green Sky Blue Grass show.
