This place and the people who work here are absolute gems! Dont come here if you are broke af yeah costs a bit of money but you are in the middle of nowhere and it should be obvious that it wont be cheap. Love the dog!

It has been 10 to 15 years sent we have been to the RINGLING BAR (steakhouse) in Ringling MT. The Place is the same, low keyand Jingling, MT is still in the middle of NOWHERE, which is why it is a destination place (2 hour for us) and we looked forward to our visit since it had been so long.Well it was the same, no surprise. The owners (husband and wife) very nice and the ONLY two working, thank goodness, for we (4) were the only customer this Friday night.I have been to great Steaks houses around the world - from London, Paris to Florence and Ledo, Italy and in-between and across this GREAT country - Atlanta, NewYork, Kanas, Texas, Phadelphia, etc. and some of the best are here in Montana!I keep a list of the Top 5 , which changes regularly. The steaks at Ringling are very good, BUT NOT ANY WHERE WORTH THE PRICE!!!!!!!!!LThe place has become ALL ALA CART!!!!!And I mean RIDICULOUSLY ala cart...........Steaks are priced individually and includes a wedge salad (ONLY)Now remember this is NOT a 5 Star restaurant (maybe a 1 star with good steaks)14oz ribeye - $608oz flat iron - $388oz baseball cut sirloin - $48Now add, what we all know should be with a steak dinner;roll - $2baked potato - $4There was no offering on menu for any side dish i.e. stewed onions, mushrooms or any veg like corn etc.We understand why we where the only customers this 1st Friday night after NEW YEARS!!THEY HAVE PRICED THEMSELVES CLEAN OUT OF REALITY,which is a shame, for the 4 of us will never make the 2 hour drive again and we all know - - we all TALK!
